Did you actually see the sun today? It was pouring in Oakland today. I went out to get some food for lunch and I felt like I was walking through a hurricane. Couldn’t even use an umbrella.

I saw a very brief slice of sun yesterday when I took your favorite cat (ha ha) out for his morning walk. Then all hell broke loose… there was even some thunder. It amazes me how NOISY it is up here when it storms!

This has really good staying power and it’s non-drying, which is a huge plus. I only had to re-touch once or twice throughout the day!

from MAC I got the Cyndi lippie and the 130 brush. I hope the lippie looks good on me! And then I stumbled across a coupon code for tarte for 50% off, so I got the femme naturale eyeshadow palette and the recreate cheek tint!
I think it’s going to look BANGING on you! If you find it too much then you could always do a light stain on the lips and pop some clear gloss on top!

can you say, PERFECT hair? gorgeous look! but seriously. i want your hair. do you use volumizers? do you mind me asking what you put in your hair product wise?
Hi Sarah, I have naturally wavy hair. For this look I went to sleep with my hair damp the night before, which helps give it a bit more body. The next morning, I spritzed the waves with some water and then ran my fingers through them to detangle. After my hair dried, I applied a heat protecting spray (Straight Sexy Hair Smooth and Protect) and then used a large barreled curler to curl the front pieces. Then I sprayed the whole thing with some Clairol Herbal Essences hair spray, let it cool, and then broke up the pieces with my fingers.
That color looks great on you! I also love that necklace!
The necklace is an oldie but goodie. I got that from Macy’s in 2007 on a whim!
