Discounted Chanel Evergreen Palette, Two New Nail Polishes Coming Soon to Nordstrom

Chanel Evergreen Palette without flash

Every summer a few of the big makeup lines release limited edition makeup kits and palettes exclusively for Nordstrom stores. They’re called Nordstrom Beauty Exclusives, and I just got wind of some new ones from Chanel.

Here’s the Evergreen eye and lip palette ($45). It’s a six-pan palette with two eyeshadows (shimmery sea foam green and shimmery mint green) and four lip glosses (shimmery pink, shimmery bronze, shimmery rose and shimmery peach).

Buying the six items together like this means a huge savings, too, as most Chanel palettes cost at least $85.

Three cheers for Chanel! 🙂

Also on the horizon: shimmery, peachy beige Muscat Glossimer ($27).

It was previously released overseas but wasn’t readily available in the US until now. You may be able to track down international products by contacting Nordstrom’s Chanel Makeup Studio on Oahu, which carries select products meant for sale overseas (click here to see a lip swatch of the shade).

I love the way Muscat Glossimer looks paired with smokey eyes…

And we may also see two new nail polishes.

I’m told that Rouge Noir ($23), a creamy blood red, resembles Chanel’s iconic Vamp shade but without the shimmer, and Rose Des Vents ($23) is a soft, rosy pearl.

Chanel’s Beauty Exclusives land July 17, but they’re available for pre-order right now.

Note: I heard a rumor that the Evergreen palette may not be around for long (*extremely* limited edition), so if you’re lusting after it, you should probably call or visit your Nordie’s Chanel counter soon.

Do any of these strike your fancy? 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Uh YES something caught my fancy! That Muscat Glossimer looks GORGEOUS.

Do you think it’s a shade that would suit a lot of different complexions?

      Hi Christina,

Yah, I think so. I like it because it’s pink enough to add some punch but not overly beigey. Do you think you might try it? Oh — it also looks good with MAC Pink Treat lip liner layered underneath.

Hi Karen. They are gorgeous, as all Chanel products are! I like the look of the palette but I’m always lazy to use lip palettes. Can you swatch the palette and the nail polishes?

      Hi Miss QQ,

Sure — it will be a few days until I can make it to the mall, but I’ll get swatches up soon!

      Hi Merylynmagic,

It’s a super pretty color! Do you have MAC Sublime Culture lip liner? It pairs perfectly with it.

The Evergreen palette is gorgeous and I am a sucker for palettes. Wonder if they’ll have it here and how much it would cost…we hardly get any discounts on cosmetics, lest from brands like Chanel, which is normally super over-priced!

      Hi Vonvon,

It’s a Nordstrom exlusive so chances are you probably won’t get it overseas… I’m pretty sure you can call Nordie’s and have them ship internationally, but it’ll cost and arm and a leg.

Don’t you have rouge noir in the US? It’s always available here in the UK, it’s very vampy colour I like it. I haven’t seen rose des vents though, could you possibly do a swatch if you have time? Thanks Karen!

      Hi Glosslizard,

LOL! It shall be yours soon. I am still undecided — when I got home I realized that the greens kinda remind me of Garden Party, but we’ll see once I’m able to swatch it.

Alison – I was thinking the same thing, so I did some research & it turns out the original Vamp (circa 1994) is the same colour as Rouge Noir (from Chanel Paris), but recently Chanel USA released Vamp again this time it’s got shimmer & is slightly lighter. We in Canada get Chanel Pair sproducts, not Chanel USA stuff.

      Hi Tali,

BOO to the rain! The weather’s been pretty crappy up here in Northern California, too, so I’m not surprised it was yucky there. Well, maybe when you come back you’ll get the classic sunny L.A. If you’re ever in the SF Bay Area I hope we get to meet someday!

Good for Chanel and Karl for throwing the “masses” a bone. I am wondering if those glosses are on the sheer side. I do not like sheer colors because my lips are too pigmented and then you have to reapply the color constantly. I bought a beautiful Chanel lip palette some years ago which I still have and it is called Velours de Chanel. There are four lip matte full coverage lip colors which are just gorgeous. So I am holding on to my money for the present. Plus I had been bad and bought two of the Galaxy lip glosses in May. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Chanel fall colors. Do you know anything about them yet??? Louise

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
