EcoTools Extends a Helping Hand to the Planet and Gets You Squeaky Clean with Their $3 Bath & Shower Gloves

November 16th, 2011 by Karen 38 Comments

5 Things That Give Me a Strange Sense of Satisfaction

  1. Taking off my bra after a really long day
  2. Flossing the HECK out of my teeth
  3. Cleaning my belly button with a Q-tip
  4. Clipping my toe nails (it’s even better if they’re really long)
  5. Vigorously exfoliating with these shower gloves

I just picked up this cute new pair by EcoTools ($3). It’s made from 65% recycled materials, which I thought was pretty cool. Probably puts a lot of old plastic soda bottles, yogurt cups and tubs of margarine to good use.

The gloves feel soft and pliable, yet they’re still coarse and dense enough to give my bod a good scrubbing.

I got them in green because they matched my bath towels (nerd!), but they also come in brown and blue. 🙂

Oh, and I also like that EcoTools donates 1% of their annual revenue to environmental causes.

PRICE: $3
AVAILABILITY: Available now at Target stores (they don’t appear to be sold online)
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: A+

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I didn’t know that, either, Rads. Very respectable. Even though it’s 1%, at least it’s something. 🙂

Hehe, and Karen, I would SO get those gloves to because they also match my green towels. Not nerdy at all. 😉 We just like everything to go with each other. 😀

I have not tried shower gloves or bath mitts before. I just depend on body scrubs! Haha! That’s totally different. But may be I should get a pair, as the movement of this on the body will stimulate the circulation.

I’ll definitely be picking these up in blue (also to match my towels, haha).

I share your sentiments with #1 so much, especially if the bra is a push-up. I told my SO to imagine if his boxers had underwire….needless to say he was kinda weirded out lol.

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
