$2 Jordana Easyliner: For Easy Eye Color Cheaper Than a Chai Latte

October 12th, 2011 by Karen 63 Comments

jordana easyliner

Leave it to a drugstore beauty bargain to flog a flu shot-induced malaise. I was feeling a little lethargic after getting my flu shot yesterday, but after swatching these Jordana Easyliner Retractable Pencils (just $2 each!), I immediately felt 100 times better.

Like Eggplant, the first shade I tried, and consequently the first of these I fell in love love with, the rest of these pigmented liners skate across my skin without skipping and last for hours on both my lash and water lines.

Here’s a closer look at 11 of the 13 shades…

PERSNICKETY POINT — I do wish these came with a small pencil sharpener, but for barely two bucks, I can totally deal.

If you’re saving up for Christmas presents, these Easyliners make it easy to sustain a makeup addiction without having to quit cold turkey. 🙂

PRICE: $2 each
AVAILABILITY: Available at Walgreens and also online
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: A

Okay, I cannot believe that it’s already Wednesday. Nope, no way. The calendar must be wrong.

In other news, how are you doing this morning? Busy day so far?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I’m crushing hard on seagreen! I guess I’m in a green mood nowadays 🙂

Right now, I’m chilling in a dining hall on campus while listening to a lecture podcast I missed last Friday because my dry lab for o chem took so dang long XD I had one of those realizations how starting next week things are going to be hectic ’cause of upcoming midterms. But once midterms are over, I get to celebrate my birthday with just worrying about a lab report 🙂 Sure, it’s still four weeks away but it’s my light at the end of the tunnel X)

How exciting that your birthday is right around the corner. Are you doing anything (besides the lab report) to celebrate?

Nope, just normal silver tabbies! They have such bold coats, though. I have no idea how this happened, lol. They’re impossibly adorable.

Gizmo LOVES them (she also just squawked at me, which I’m going to assume is a greeting meant for you and Tabs :D). She’s been very welcoming and watches them all the time. She’s just started to play with them; I think she was hesitant for a while because she’s so much bigger than they are and didn’t want to scare them. Also, she routinely touches noses with them and they all purr at each other. Who knew she’d be a perfect kitten ambassador?

I love their markings. They look like bookends! SERIOUSLY. I may explode from all the cuteness.

So I’m really glad to hear Gizmo is being a good big sister. I know you were worried about her for a second there.

Has it been hard keeping up? To go from two to four is a huge step! More food, more poop, more playtime, more snuggles… Yes, I’m jealous.

Before we got Walgreens here, I could only find Jordana lipliners and occasionally lipsticks or glosses at dollar stores. I’m looking forward to exploring the entire line. Definitely going to pick up Denim Blue and Eggplant!

        Karen,

I’m an NC-45, my “go-to” is Nutmeg, a rust color that’s great to fill in the entire lip if I’m running out the house without time to for lipstick or gloss. 25 Natural is a little lighter, almost exactly my skin tone, less useful for me, but might work for you. Both are the 5.5 inch pencil, I’m not sure they make these colors in the longer 7 inch.

I agree with the perfect price to try new colors. When I was in college I used wooden Jordana pencils unceasingly. I loved the chubby ones they had then. I used a color much like seagreen practically everyday. Soooo pretty. I am interested in Bliss would love to see if that could hold up on my waterline,
