Your Nails May Want to Get a Little Closer to the Zoya Intimate Collection

zoya intimate collection

If you’ve yet to get your fill of purple, this spring’s prince of the color-sphere, feast your eyes on the sweet new shades in Zoya’s Intimate Collection ($7 each; available in six colors).

These make me want to play dress-up…like I should be wearing a floral print dress with sky-high pumps as I sport them on my nails.

And for some reason I can seem them going well with the Laura Mercier’s Silk Road Collection…

I only just put these on, so I can’t speak to wear time yet, but the other Zoya polishes I’ve tried resist chips and fading exceptionally well, especially when worn with the Color-Lock System (THE BEST!).

If you’d like give these a try, you can find them online at zoya.com. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Oh cool, my faves are Caitlin, Dove and Marley, and I don’t have a lot of the milkier nail colors (more shiny and dark etc). Will definitely check these out! Did you get my part2 e-mail about the Shimmering Facial Whip post? Hope it didn’t go to your spam box again!

    Who’s ready for FRIDAY!!!!????

For spring, not really. A lot of the lines have been releasing darker grays with shimmer. I loooove this color to pieces, too, btw. 🙂

      Hi Patty,

I try to be careful with them (I don’t bite them, or use them to open up Tabs’ gravy cans, LOL!). I also wear a good base and top to prevent splitting and breaking.

Oh — every night I apply a cuticle/nail moisturizer by Burt’s Bees. It’s cheap, smells good and works great!

I got in on the 3 free deal at the start of the month and I LOVE Zoya polishes! I have noticed that their creme colors are easier to apply and last longer than the shimmer finishes though. I got six of their polishes and can’t wait to get more!

I am really liking this collection, and since I don’t have a lot of pastels, these would be great. Really liking dove, marley and gemma ( that olive color yum!). I have a question: is caitlain a grey or a muddier lilaic or slate blue? My eyes are deceiving and I can’t tell or maybe its rad colour that looks different in different lights

How funny. Just a few hours ago I heard of Zoya for the first time when I was surfing the web looking for nail polish that’s safer for pregnant women. I love these colors! I’m definitely going to have to order some. If they ship to Canada, that is.

      Hi SaraJane,

I just checked the site and unfortunately they don’t ship to Canada. 🙁

You still might be able to find a nearby salon that carries the line, though, with the Spa & Salon Locator on the Zoya website.

      Good luck!

      Hi SaraJane!

In case it didn’t come up in your search, Scotch Naturals are a fantastic alternative to regular polishes – they’re water-based and toluene, dibutyl phthelate, formaldehyde, acetone, heavy metal free (whew! that was a mouth full!) The formula’s a little on the thin side but it’s completely workable and just give it a little extra time to dry, even with a fast dry topcoat. Scotchnaturals.com ships to Canada but you can also try http://www.raspberrykids.com which is based in Canada and perhaps save on shipping fees.

      Hope this helps!
