What Are You Wearing on Your Nails?

April 30th, 2010 by Karen 93 Comments

Rise and shine, morning glory. 🙂 TGIF! After feeling like I caught up on sleep last night, I felt like wearing something bright on my nails today and picked Milani’s Neon Nail Lacquer in Awesome Orange ($5), one of the eight colors in their Neon Nail Lacquer collection that came out a couple months ago.

LOVE the texture… It’s so thin and easy to apply but still produces an even pigmentation. That’s me wearing three coats in the picture up there (I kinda rushed through ’em). Nice solid opacity.

How about you? What are you sporting on your fingers and/or toes?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

OPI DS Coronation, its one of their new Designer series colors and its a silver shimmery shade with a dust of glitter. I love it cause the glitter in it is so fine that it just gives off a pretty sparkle without the preteen chunky glitter look! LOL

I’m super picky about my glitter too. If I’m gonna rock the glitter on my nails it’s gotta be “good” glitter, ya know?

Plus I can’t wait to order Chanel Nouvelle Vague and Riviera in the next couple of days when they are finally released here in the UK!

Tomorrow I’m going into SF for something called WordCamp (a seminar for WordPress bloggers), which should be fun. On Sunday I’ll probably just chill at home and do errands… kinda boring, but honestly, I don’t mind. I like having the downtime!

For Audrey by China Glaze on my fingers and toes! It’s a Tiffany/robin’s egg blue that feels very spring-y 🙂

China Glazes LOL for my nails. It’s a gorgeous purple holo.

Sally Hansens Fire Opal for my toes. It’s a nice pale shade that doesn’t distract, but still makes my toes look like I put a little effort into them.

OPI’s Rumple’s Wiggin’. As far as I can see it hasn’t been released yet(at least on the OPI website) so I was happily surprised that my salon had it in.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
