Two things I could do all day, every day…
1. Window shop for cute spring bags
Window shopping in person and online. Just point me toward a window, and I’m there. 🙂 Right now I’ve got my eye on a few things, like…
2. Paint my nails
I don’t know when it happened, but I turned into one of those gals who paints her nails a different color every single day.
Maybe it’s a phase. 🙂
Who knows? But if you also like to change things up often on your claws, these new Endless Color Custom Nail Trios from Physicians Formula ($10.95 per trio of 0.45-ounce bottles; eight trios to choose from) make that quite fun and easy.
Each of the stackable bottles in these trios snaps together (like Lego) to form a sort of nail polish wand.
When you feel like wearing a different color, SNAP!
No, I mean the bottles snap together. 🙂 Just break apart the wand.
The colors in the trios can be worn alone or layered together to create your own nail art.
So far I’ve gotten my finger into four of the eight trios…
And, first things first, I a lot about these polishes, like the price, the medium-weight texture (DBP free), quick 5-minute drying time, the high-shine finish and the brush, which lays down smooth, even color.
These are also free of camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, parabens, gluten, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, pthalates, GMOs and triclosan.
Unfortunately, I also find myself having to do a lot of layering with these polishes — three to reach full opacity, and even then, some of them still look streaky.
Hmm…
I guess I could apply a fourth or even fifth layer, but dang! — who has patience for that?
Cute idea here with the Lego-like wand, but I wish the formula cooperated a bit better.
PRICE: $10.95 for a trio of three 0.45-ounce polishes

Cute idea of stackable bottles! This would probably help a lot in storage. The colors are bright and I love how Fashion Icon and Trendsetter Chic are summer-ready too!

Love the colors in Fashion Icon, especially the sky blue (I’m currently obsessed with finding the perfect sky blue-coloured items :-)).

Wow, I JUST ordered the Drew Satchel in the color Salmon by Big Buddha this very morn. I had never even heard of that brand until today. Now that I see you fancy the brand, I know I’m on the right track to looking fly!

I love that Big Buddha Hobo bag! The color’s so bright and summery 🙂

I really like the Big Buddha clutch. Sephora has exact same nail polishes that are stackable and the quality is very good.

Very cute idea with the Lego stacking but the formulas do look really challenging. I think the nudes could be winners since I’m a fan of sheer nudes. The others, not so much. 🙂
I see you’re going through a tassle-rific period in purses! Serious question (since I only have one black purse and one brown which are over 15 years old and I plan to keep forever!): do you re-use purses from past years or just get rid of them to make room for new ones?

I like that nude trio! I have the grey trio, and it’s really pretty – as I remember the quality was quite good, the polishes were not particularly sheer. Around $10 seems kind of high to me though given how small the polishes are – but then again, PF is 40% off pretty frequently!

Ah, now this is something I may pick up! I think I like the purple/blue Trendsetter trio 🙂

The coats would kill me… couldn’t do 3. That’s worth getting a higher end brand right there.

Some shades are so pretty but streaky…. 🙁
