Enjoy the rest of your Friday night, and I’ll catch up with you soon. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

We’re out to see Alice in Wonderland, maybe a drink or two afterwards. Not too late as I have to go to work the day after.
I’m contemplating on a couple of outfits. I think it’ll be my purple-pink Comptoir des Cotonniers tunic dress with dark green leggings and my boots.

Your outfit sounds cute! Ultimately I think you should pick whatever makes you makes you feel pretty AND comfortable. But I like the idea of the purplish pink dress with boots (sassy!).

I have both from Barbie and both from Sundressing. I feel like the pearly beauty powders are one of the best products ever, I wish they would release new colors!!!

Mine went well. I managed to do a lot of relaxing in the afternoon… I worked out (ran the slowest two miles ever), then I did a bunch of girl stuff: exfoliated, hair masque, waxed the ‘stache… the whole nine yards! Ooh, it felt so good.

Thanks for including the blooper . . . I make those ALL OF THE TIME, but in front of a classroom full of teenagers. Thank goodness they usually know what I am trying to say, and help me finish my thoughts. But I definitely make those faces in front of them, usually at least once or twice a day.

    Have a wonderful Saturday!

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
