MAC Preps for Colour with Too New Fabulous Spring Collections

February 8th, 2010 by Karen 45 Comments

Hey, gals! I was just about to make dinner (linguine with garlicky clams, om nom…) when I came across some pics for two upcoming MAC collections: Too Fabulous (March 4) and Prep for Colour (April 8).

When it comes to more MAC, the clams can wait, LOL!

MAC Too Fabulous, clockwise from upper left: Mineralize Blush Duos ($23), Lip Pencils ($13), Cremesheen Glasses ($18)

MAC Prep For Colour

MAC Prep For Colour Prep + Prime Fortified Skin Enhancer ($30)

See anything you like? Those Mineralize Blushes and Cremesheen Glasses are killin’ me softly… 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. How’d your Monday go? Mission accomplished, I hope.

I need to pass this one up 🙂 I think I can pass up the, er, upcoming cooler (80’s inspired) collection, too. I better, because I want about $100 worth of stuff from the Spring Color Forecast collection, and I just don’t have that kind of money to keep spending!

The mineralized blush duos and cremesheen glasses perked my interest too! Exciting for me since I just have not been overly excited about the MAC collections as of late. The pink and bronze duo is calling my name! I will be interested to hear more about the purpose of the different skin enhancers.

I think im liking the Prep for Colour stuff better — mostly because I have too many eyeshadows and ill never be able to use them all…

For some reason, a product meant to illuminate my skin appeals to me. 😛

I love anything that adds a glow to the skin. Have you tried the MAC Cream Color Bases? They’re an easy, convenient way to add a hit of shimmer to the cheeks.

I’ll take the coral gloss and I’m actually interested in the Mineralize blush duo. I usually pass because it’s too frosty for me but the color combos look interesting (in a good way!).

On a slightly random note, I love the model MAC chose! She has a gorgeous face. And awesome cheekbones. I might be a tad jealous.

Would anyone happen to know what kind of false eyelashes were used on the model in the first pic? I think they look soo pretty, especially with the eyeshadow she’s wearing!
