Well look who’s just in time for sundresses. 🙂 Hey there, MAC. Wait — let me bare my shoulders before we go outside…
(Actually, now would not be a good time to go gallivanting as it’s storming heavily here; the rain is coming down sideways!)
Come April 7, babes, the bronze will be on — North American MAC counters, that is (internationally some time in April). That’s when the new MAC Bronze Everyday collection beams down.
The release features a mix of old and new MAC bronzing items for face and body. Expect to see repromoted favorites like the Skinsheen Leg Sprays and Lustre Drops alongside new products like Mineralize Skinfinish Natural and the Mineralize Skinfinish Bronzing Powders.
If you miss the release, don’t despair. MAC plans to add everything here to their permanent line.
Here’s a quick look at four things from the 12-piece collection…
MAC Bronze products from the left: Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun!, Lustre Drops in Sun Rush, Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel and Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Sun Power
Mineralize Skinfinish Naturals in Sun Power (left) and Give Me Sun! (right)
Lustre Drops in Sun Rush (left) and Pink Rebel (right)
Swatches from the left with the flash (for reference, I’m an NC 35): Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun!, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Sun Power, Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel (blended and unblended) and Lustre Drops in Sun Rush (blended and unblended)
Without the flash
THIS JUST IN — Bronzing enthusiasts everywhere (including the cast of the Jersey Shore) are fist pumping for joy! 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Yay!
those 2 new MSFs are lovely …. applied with a light hand, they would be perfect for the summer (that is already upon us here in HTown…).
stay safe and dry, karen & hawtTabs!
I’m so jealous! It’s freezing cold and raining here, boo!
might be a good excuse to cuddle with The Tabs! 🙂
we were gonna go out to dinner … but im just too drained bec of work and the heat…
🙂
He’s always in the mood to snuggle at the most inopportune times! Today he’s tried to drape his girth across my keyboard multiple times… er, no Tabs! 😀
What did you end up doing for din?
thats cute!!!
oh the hubs had a tuna sandwich … and i had toasted english muffins with some butter and honey! yum! 🙂
oh and we shared a grapefruit. not my fave fruit — far too much work for far too little fruit!
That sounds good. I’m about to eat some improv soup!
Okay, so you know I love me some grapefruit. You gotta get the big ruby red ones… they’re worth the effort, LOL!
The fruit that I feel has the least payoff are pomegranates.
pomegranates and nina = sworn enemies! LOL … again too much work for too little fruit.
the hubs did say there are grapefruits that are sweeter and easier to work with. based on his word and yours — im willing to give grapefruit another chance! 🙂
i normally enjoy being pale but for some reason i’ve been wanting to tan up lately (using fake tanner, of course).
is it easy enough to sheer out give me sun? i’m afraid even with a tan, that will still be too dark/orangey for me =/.

You could probably use a big fluffy brush to apply all over your entire face to add some warmth. It’s pretty easy if you use a light touch.
If these bronzers are as good as the ones featured in the Wonder woman collection, then I want them. stupid question : how would you use the lustre drops? as a liquid highlighter?
thank you for your review, great as usual.
have a nice day
H
Hi Honor,
Yup, that’s how I’d use them. You could also mix them into your foundation or tinted moisturizer before applying as well.
Which of the 2 bronzers would look good on NC30-35 skintone? I love your reviews btw! 🙂
Ooooh, everything looks great! I may have to pick up the lustre drops and the light bronzer 😀
Looks like ‘Soft and Gentle’ and ‘Gold Deposit’ are already available on the website. As are the bronzing powders. =)
Can’t wait for the Lustre Drops!
soft & gentle and gold deposit are part of mac’s permanent line 🙂
Good to know. Just a casual MAC lover so I guess I’m not up on which products from “new” releases are not actually new. Thanks Nina.
I’m not a big bronzer girl (I’m NW45/NC50 = naturally tanned) but I would love the Sun Power MSF Natural or Gold Deposit MSF. Thanks girl!
Hey Karen,
the MSFs look really cool! I was desperately waiting for a MAC bronzer without any shimmer, glitter and … stuff 😉
Do you think Give me Sun would work on a NC15 – NC20 skin? I’m afraid this could look extremely orange on me?
i want to try the lustre drops!

Does anyone know if “Give me Sun” is matte, or has shimmer?
