It’s questionable whether these ought to be considered a tool…but I’ll allow it! ? I bought these funny eyeliner stickers from E.L.F. a couple weeks ago for only $2!
They looked like they’d be fun. Plus, I haven’t worked a wing in a hot second, and one can never have too much help when it comes to winged liner!
What about you? What was the last beauty tool you bought?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I bought the Finishing touch hair remover for upper lip at Walgreens. I love a winged eye how did those work out?

I bought a 4 pan palette from MAC when i was in the store in NYC. I also bought an eyeshadow (Soft brown) to start my collection.
Can you believe in 5 more days, our babies will be another year older! Mine will be 18!!!!!

I like those tapes and I really need serious help with my wings.
The last tool I bought was a Sephora concealer brush. Can’t remember the number but I love it and it’s been life-changing.

I just picked these up for a friend and the sales rep in the store told me to cut them in half since your eye isn’t that long.
How did it work?
Karen says
Hi Barb,
That’s what I do too! I’m lazy and just tear them in half.
They work great. Sticky enough but not *too* sticky.

Karen, I just got an email today that informed me all the e.l.f. stores are closing!!! I’m sad about this!
Rachel Runyan says
I didn’t know e.l.f. came out with those eye stickers. I’ll have to try them out.
The last beauty tool I bought was a new Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener.
Michele DiCola says
Gonna try them from ELF .
Plus ELF seems to have some bronzing items that look interesting!

Ummm I think an eye shadow brush from Sephora Collection? I love their brushes. Or maybe it was the microfiber eye pads to take off makeup (worth it x1000) both things are so so incredibly soft.

One of the Real Techniques blending sponges! It’s pretty nice.

I bought a couple of Artis brushes right after Christmas. Signing up for their mailing list paid off when I got one of those “the first xx people to click get 50% off,” and for once I was one of the first to click.

A Charlotte Tilbury eyeliner/ lipliner sharpener. The best ! It’s really sharp and smooth and a Tweezerman eyelash curler but not sure if I love it yet, maybe needs to be broken in ?
Kate says
I bought an eyelash comb. My Real Techniqies one broke and it was the first one I had that wasn’t plastic. What a difference having metal (metal-like?) teeth made. It seems that Real Techniques doesn’t sell it individually anymore so I bought a generic one from Amazon, which isn’t as good but good enough.

I just bought a Glo Pro microneedling tool and a Dr Dennis Gross SpectraLite Faceware Pro. I’ve been saving and saving for both of these.
I have had pretty good luck using a credit card as a guide for doing a wing. I just angle it slightly upward at the corner of my lower lid. Then I draw a light line. Finally I can go in with a long lasting gel or liquid liner. Then take the top point and bring it down to my upper lid and fill it in. Really easy.

I did´t technically buy it, but I asked for a NuFace for my birthday.
