Sundays without Tabs the Cat, Makeup and Beauty Blog Mascot, Nov. 23

November 23rd, 2008 by Karen 62 Comments

Before leaving for Florida, we got Tabs a suite at Cat’s Cradle, a kitty hotel/pet boarding facility, because we didn’t want to worry about him while we were away.

Most kennel/boarding facilities (I found Cat’s Cradle on Yelp) charge between $8-$17/day and usually include meals. You get the peace of mind of knowing that someone is looking after your pet, which means not having to worry about flaky cousin Fred forgetting to refill the water bowl.

Well… at least that’s the idea. I just got a call from Cat’s Cradle. Tabs escaped! He was last seen at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. Can you help me find him in this picture (click for a larger version)?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. Jen’s wedding and reception went off without a hitch. There were no serious injuries on the dance floor, although I think a middle-aged groomsman might have pulled a muscle doing the worm, LOL! Here are some pics…

Oh Karen you look beautiful! Good choice of colors for your make up! Did you use the Chanel quad? Your skin looks just lovely.Your friend Jen is Phillipina right? I love that her husband wore the traditional shirt ( I don’t know how to spell the name of the shirt barang?? ). My best friend is Phillipina and I was her maid of honor. I flew to the Phillipines for her wedding. There were like 16 people in the bridal party. Looks like your friend was able to keep it a little smaller. She looked absolutely stunning! Great make up artist! Thanks for sharing the pics with us! I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday in Florida. I’m glad everything went ok with El Hub’s mom!

You look gorgeous! The makeup colors are just perfect. The bride and groom look beautiful as well. It must’ve been a beautiful ceremony.

Oh and don’t worry, I found the Tabenator. He’s “just sitting on the dock of the bay watchin’ the tide”…opps got carried away. He’s sitting on the railing waiting for someone to take his picture.

Enjoy the rest of your visit. And safe trip home.

Oh – you and the bride look LOVELY! On a random note, my husband has a friend that is Phillipino (I’m sure I spelled that wrong), and he was in his wedding, and wore a shirt just like one of the groomsmen had on in your picture! Was either the bride or the groom from the Phillipines? I adored her veil, too. So beautiful! I’m glad the Beiges de Chanel quad worked so well, too – it was lovely on you! Glad the event went well – and hope your MIL is doing great. 🙂

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
