TRANSLATION: Even though my contract explicitly prohibits me from performing manual labor, I did my assistant’s laundry today as part of a barter for sliced turkey. For the record, I upheld my end of the bargain but have not yet received said turkey.
UPDATE, 6:40PM: I may have thrown my back out carrying the laundry upstairs. Still no turkey.
LOL! Poor Tabs… It’s a hard-knock life for cats. 🙂

OK I have to admit that I realize it now, Tabs is looking ridiculously handsome.. And I really liked the way you met, it’s like “.. whenever he got into trouble, it didn’t matter anymore because he got a place to go and a woman to love.” ha 😀 I realllly liked Benefit blush ad by the way! And as dinner we have some popcorn and old Batman movies on the table, so come have your share 🙂

Ha Ha! You are lucky Tabs will be satisfied with the UD Gravy palette. My two cats are on the waiting list for the one from the Chantecaille Wagyu and Exotic Catnip line. (Little do they know this means GENERIC cat food for the next year to finance it!)
I loved finding out how Tabs found you! I like to think our pup picked out me and the hubs as well. I’d been begging for a dog and really wanted to go to the Humane Society or another shelter rather than buying one somewhere, since there are so many animals who need homes. The whole time we couldn’t agree on who to adopt (I wanted a small dog, hubs wanted a big one of course) until we both saw Connor. He looked at us with his blue speckled brown puppy eyes, wagged his tail, and we were his! And as an added bonus, he is the perfect medium sized dog, so we both won on that one 🙂 Yay for animal friends! Now if only he wasn’t so darn camera shy, I think he’d make a dashing model, much like your Tabs!
My new neutral is MAC eyeshadow in Gleam. Love it!
And I just read your story about Tabs! I knew there was a reason your posts resonated with me… and now I know it’s because we’re both “found” cat moms. My girl kitty, Noel (spelled like a boy because I got her a few days before Xmas) was rescued by a friend of a friend from a home where she was — get this– being fed COCAINE and ECSTASY. No joke. She nearly died, these people found her outside, comatose, no collar, nothing. They took her home and realized they couldn’t care for her, somehow I heard about this, and from my tiny studio apartment I said “bring her here.”
She went through a full on drug withdrawal, just like a human. But now she’s healthy, has a good appetite, and zero health problems! So, hooray to people who will take in animals who just need a little love.

Hi Karen. Tabs is such a natural under the lens and seems to be in his element when modeling and surrounded by high-end cosmetics! I love Tabs in the Groove. After reading how you and Tabs met, you must feel so lucky and flattered that he chose you and likewise, he was lucky to have found YOU.
I just love the gravy palette. So many delicious flavors to choose from. Can’t wait to put it on that turkey.
