Hi, friend. Happy Saturday! I’m taking extra time to spend with the fam-bam this weekend before the rhythm of regular life returns, so short-and-sweet Saturday Surfing today.
That top pic, by the way, is how we spent our first day of 2021. In the great outdoors! We hiked up to the Fairway Waterfall in Novato along Buck Gulch Trail. It’s a family-friendly, easy hike about 2 miles there and back, so just purrfect for a leisurely stroll.
On this journey, we encountered a fairy garden (moss-covered rocks), an enclave of rock giants (big boulders), a raging river (dry creek bed) and an enchanted waterfall. 😊

This looks fun.

OK, so now I want a rebounder…
How was your New Years, by the way?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
Happy Saturday! That looks like a peaceful hike! I pretty much spent New Years eating and relaxing. Today I did stop by the drugstore and picked up the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (they didn’t have the 16 oz. with the pump, so I picked up the jar).
Happy Saturday! Hettie and I mostly laid around and read for New Year’s Day,it was really nice and relaxing. I also made nutella cookies. Today she and I took a nice walk to the park – there was freezing rain yesterday but today it was clear. We saw a cute white cat sitting in someone’s window.
That Teen Vogue article on beauty and protest was really good.
You always have the best links, Karen. Thank you so much for all the work you put into these Saturday surfings. Happy New Year x
Looks like a great day! I’m going to have to go with Sign Your Name, though (shoo-doo-wop-bop. Bop-shoo-wop-bop). 😉
