Christmas is 12 weeks away.
That’s approximately 87 sleeps!
This year, I’ve decided that I’m going to the annoying mom/auntie/sister-from-another-mister you never wanted, because I’m officially going to start bugging you to start your gift shopping MEOW. Don’t wait till the last minute, babe. It’s so much less stressful for you (and me) this way!
Anyway, I’ve been doing some initial canvassing for stocking stuffers lately, and here’s a couple of cool things I’ve found…
Tattly Temporary Tattoos
I happened upon these temporary tattoos (made by real artists!) from Tattly a few weeks ago, and even though I’m not a big tattoo person, I fell in love with the designs and colors.
If you’re in Marin, you can find them at Rileystreet Art Supply in San Rafael, and if you aren’t in my neck of the woods, there’s also an online shop.
My favorite, of course, is the cat in the heart sunglasses, which is $5 for a set of two tattoos in the same design!
Side note: someone please inform Santa that I’d like the Punk Cat and Tabby Cat tattoos to be deposited into my stocking, thank you very much.
Blue Q Bags
Every single one of these cheeky bags made me laugh! They’re made from 95% recycled materials, and like the Tattly Tattoos, you can find them at Rileystreet if you’re local.
They’re also sold online, and their store has many more options beyond coin purses.

Those tattoos are really cool! Randomly they have those little pouches (plus other sizes and designs) at the tiny local airport in my town. When I come across things that would make a good gift for someone, I take a pic or make a note in my phone. My good friend is especially hard to shop for, plus I have to mail her Christmas and Birthday gift within a month of each other, so I try to look for small things that will easily fit in a package. Ugh Christmas stress begins!
OMG! They hit the nail on the head with the horse decorated one that says, “You’re basically broke” So true if you have a horse or two.
I love fish and abstract flower tattoos. Not sure I’d ever wear one though. Skin art other than makeup is not really my thing.
I love Tattly tattoos. I got mine from the local art gallery. Birds, of course! They lasted two weeks on me before starting to flake, Sadly, I don’t think the gallery stocks them anymore or I’d buy a whole bunch.
This year I’m going to try to finish my shopping before Thanksgiving. I already started my list. Then I can relax and enjoy the season! That’s the theory at least…
