When you live within 5 minutes of both an Ulta and a Sephora, and it’s your birthday, well…this happens.
I couldn’t resist grabbing some things from my beauty wishlist. 🙂 And, um, some other just-for-fun items may have accidentally fallen into my basket too, whoops!

I’ll probably also end up getting another bottle of Olive & June polish, which I LOVE, because I’m going to treat Connor to lunch, a new book and a sparkly nail polish today since she’s done with preschool. Yesterday was her last official day of preschool! *sniffs*
It’s a cliché for a reason, but dang, time sure flies… It really does seem like we were just practicing walking to her classroom for the first time, and then she was finishing her first year, then second year, and now… She’s heading to Kindergarten this fall. I mean that’s big league now!
Her “graduation” was held in the preschool parking lot, and yes, as anticipated, I got a little teary (OK, a lot). Waterproof mascara was definitely in the mix!

You got some nice goodies there! Would love a report on the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream and the Curel Cleansing Oil. I’ve used other Curel products I’ve gotten in Japan and liked them, can’t say they were loves though. Currently use Clinique TTDO cleansing oil but always on the lookout for something equally effective but even less expensive.

Happy Birthday, Karen! I hope you and Connor Claire have a great day. Wow, it seems like yesterday that you were blogging that you were pregnant-it is hard to believe Connor will be in kindergarten! I will be interested to know what you think of the Laneige set. I got the same set back in January. I loved the eye treatment, and I loved the way the mask and moisturizer felt, but I could not see a difference in my skin at all. Have a great weekend!

I was just looking at the Sephora birthday gifts, I’m 46 today, and they’re all good! It’s going to be a tough decision! Lol! Yay for Connor Claire starting Kinder, she’s going to learn so much! But once Kinder starts, time flies! It’s horrible, but amazing!
Wow, Connor is SO grown up! And so beautiful and full of happy confidence! You’re doing a great job, mom!
And Curel Makeup Cleansing Oil?!! I want that! I’ll have to be watching for it when it finally shows up around here. Cleansing oils are the only thing I use to remove eye makeup and I could never do the micellar water thing because of having to wipe a cotton pad over my eyes. Rinse off oil is my thing.
