A Tiny Bottle of Kerastase Spray A Porter, and a Mini Meow Day

April 10th, 2014 by Karen 9 Comments

Kerastase Spray a Porter Travel Size
Cutest mini ever! — the Kerastase Spray a Porter Travel Size ($18 for a 1.7-ounce bottle)

How’s it going, babe? How is your afternoon coming along? I just got back from the salon (got my roots touched up).

Today I took sort of a mini “meow time” half-day, and I really needed it. I’ve been feeling a little run down lately because I’m just not sleeping well, and my allergies are in full effect.

And then after the salon, I swung by Blue Barn, my favorite salad place in Corte Madera.

Nom! Tell me that this doesn’t look like one of the greatest salads ever.

It was a relaxing few hours… I almost feel like a normal girl again.

Almost. 🙂

While I was at the salon, I picked up the cute little travel-sized bottle of Kerastase Spray a Porter up there at the top.

Cute, yah?

I saw it sitting on a shelf next to the full-sized Spray a Porter, and I couldn’t resist.

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned/gushed about this stuff before, but basically it’s a potion of glittering unicorn tears, powdered rainbows and fluffy blue-eyed kittens that comes in a spray bottle.

I’m sure those are the ingredients. 🙂

It’s kind of magical. I use it almost daily for beachy waves — think messy, but not too messy. Like Victoria’s Secret runway model hair with lots of volume.

So, so good.

If you don’t feel like springing for the big bottle (which is $35 for 150ML), maybe try the smaller travel one first ($18 for 50ML). I bet you’ll like it. On my way out of the salon, my friend who cuts and colors my hair, Alis, pointed at the bottle and said, “Aren’t you obsessed?”

Yes, Alis. Yes, I am.

She said she keeps one of the travel bottles at her boyfriend’s house because she can’t live without it.

Yup, you know that when hair stylists are raving about a product you’re also using, you’re doing OK, LOL!

You should be able to find the mini Spray a Porter bottles (50ML) now at salons and online at kerastase-usa.com . It’s listed at $18.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. It’s weird that it’s already almost Friday. I don’t feel like I ever really got into the swing of things this week. Sometimes it’s like that, I guess. I hope you’re chugging along. Your nephew says hi.

Hey Karen! Hi to Tabs from India 🙂
Do you know if the Keratase spray is available in India? I have been looking for something that gives the effect you’re talking about.

Glad you got to take some time off! I’m overworked lately and could use a half-day. Hopefully Mr. M’s work load will lighten up soon and I can get some time to myself. I’m still working on my big hair product concoction. I have tons of hair, but it’s really fine. I’ll keep this one in mind.

Your salad definitely makes me wish I could still eat shrimp without dying. 🙂

Happy Friday, btw! Sometimes it’s nice when the week flies by – I hope you have a chance to recharge this weekend. Maybe you’re missing all that construction noise. HAHA!

I have a Bumble & Bumble spray that sounds similar – I typically use it in the summer. Which will be here eventually, I’m told. 🙂

Oooh this sounds really nice. I love travel sized haircare so that i can try something out before committing to a full bottle of something that makes my hair look awful. Does this dry your hair out at all? I need all the moisture i can get right now due to the blonde ombre I recently put my locks through: )

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
