Face of the day (FOTD) – Soften your black pencil liner with MAC’s Mulch

August 8th, 2007 by Karen 3 Comments

I’ve been loving on MAC Mulch Shadow lately, it’s really very versitile. My favorite thing to do with it is to layer it over smudgy black eye pencil on the upper and lower lashes. It softens the edge of black liner and makes it really natural and soft for day looks.

Here’s what I’m wearing to work today. I’ll try to do a more detailed tutorial in a few days!

It’s Wednesday ya’ll, which means we are halfway to Friday, which means we are halfway to FREEDOM!

If you keep your chin up today, I will too. =)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Thanks Kia! =) I am totally in love with Mulch these days. When I do the tutorial I will try to take better pics with my camera so you can see the layering between the pencil and sparkle of the Mulch. It’s easy yet still professional enough to wear to work.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
