I’m Rolling Deep With Sonia Kashuk’s $19.99 Roll Up Valet Makeup Bag

Sonia Kashuk Roll Up Valet
Sonia Kashuk’s fantabulous Roll Up Valet ($19.99)

I love trying out new makeup bags in the hope of finding THE ONE BAG that will rule them all, Highlander-style, and the bag I brought with me to Vegas this week, the $19.99 Roll Up Valet by Sonia Kashuk, just may be that one!

Truth be told, I never thought I’d ever want a spare/backup makeup bag. Backup lipsticks and eyeshadows, sure — but a backup makeup bag?

Well, yes. Sonia’s Roll Up Valet is without a doubt one of the best makeup bags I’ve ever owned. It’s like your own personal makeup admin assistant, keeping everything organized, and it’s compact and lightweight, too.

From the outside, it’s a cute bag with a handle and a snap closure, but unroll it, and it turns into a magic carpet!

Okay, not really… 🙂

It opens to reveal four separate, see-through zippered compartments, which make it easy to find the products within.

I keep brushes in one of the compartments, my face makeup (foundation, blush, bronzer, etc.) in another, eye makeup in the third and lip products in the fourth. With this beautiful bag, I don’t have to rut around in the dark, or dump everything out on a counter, to find what I’m looking for.

I also like how it lies flat when it’s open. Perfect for tabletops.

Better still, it couldn’t be a whole lot easier to clean, and it only costs $20!

The new Sonia Kashuk Roll Up Valet: what fits inside
It fits all of this, with room to spare!

I noticed that it’s on backorder now at target.com, which really doesn’t surprise me because it’s BOMB!

When I get home, I’m snagging another one from my local Target — after I tend to my employer’s gravy needs, of course. 🙂

PRICE: $19.99
AVAILABILITY: Available now (unless it’s sold out) at Target stores and online
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: A+ (just a great, great bag)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Joy Mangano on HSN has bags just like this! If you can’t find the SK version they are worth checking out. http://www.hsn.com/products/joy-mangano-biggest-and-best-better-beauty-case-set-eve/7093463

I have the smallest and medium size, the design is exactly the same as the SK version.

The different compartments are so handy! This bag is super cute, I am in need of a new makeup case and this might be a good pick!

How big is each compartment? My go-to eye shadow set is Stila’s In the Light palette, which is kinda bulky. The bag looks awesome, but I’m worried my eye shadows won’t fit.

PS. Love the blog, Karen! You are awesome sauce!

I had this bag in the snakeskin pattern from last fall and loved it so much that I upgraded to a similar one from Kate Spade Saturday! The KS version is a little bigger with a handy hook for hanging on the back of your hotel door- I use it for all my toiletries when I travel and I loooove it!

Too bad they don’t sell it in my country… 🙁

I have a bag similar to this. Mary Kay sells one like this, only in black. I love the one I have…the compartments are velcroed in so I can just pull the one I have brushes in and leave everything else so I can clean my brushes. Very handy to have and has the main staples in it since it’s easier to find things in it instead of my train case full of makeup!

I found this today at my Tarjay – last one! DH asked if I’m going to get rid of another of my MU bags now. Boys are dumb.

Oh snap…I had a bag like this back in the day (I think it was designed by Parcel? Can’t remember, but it was black and white-striped on the outside and it was from and Andy Warhol-themed collection, and I had to sadly let it go after the mesh compartments got all wonky). I’ve been looking for a replacement! Thanks K-Dawg!

Your review makes me wish I bought this when I collected the snakeskin bags from Sonia Kashuk. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. The double-zip bags are pretty great too.

Hi, Is that MAC Face&Body foundation I saw?? If it is, can you please tell me what color are you in MAC F&B as I am wearing the same NC40-42 as you. We don’t have Face&Body available in store where I live, so the only way is to get em online and it is a bit tricky choosing color online. Thanks
