Nails of the Day/Night: Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist

Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist, $18

Tonight I’m wearing two coats of Smith & Cult’s Bitter Buddhist ($18), which is officially described as a “celadon green.”

A celadon.

I thought a celadon was a kind of dinosaur? No?

LOL! 🙂 Seriously, though, I thought it was a restaurant before doing this post.

Whatever it is, I like it! It’s a pale, pretty blue.

The shorts, by the way, are the Scallop Lace Riviera Shorts by LOFT, the bag is NARS (limited edition; I don’t think it’s still available), and the bracelet is something I got at Nordies a few years back.

P.S. If you like Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist, you might also like Chanel Horizon Line.

Ha ha! Celadon, mastadon – it’s easy to get confused! Love this polish on you, and those super fun shorts! Hope you enjoyed your date night! <3

Oooh… clearly someone never played Pokemon! ;P (One of the cities was Celadon City, and they were all named after colours)

This is a gorgeous colour though, especially on you. It compliments your skin really well. Dang, your hands are smooooth… but that bracelet is stealing the show. Beautiful!

I am wearing Essies Turquoise and Caicos, which looks similar judging by the picture. Great color for spring.
The Shorts are beautiful. I would love to see the full look some time.
    Enjoy your Date Night!

Love the whole styling of this post- fashion magazine material! The shade of the nail polish is beautiful too and it contrasts nicely with your shorts.

I love Celadon ceramics, they’re so beautiful! I think the ceramic glaze color is more green/gray compared to this nail polish, but this is still a beautiful shade. I wish someone would come up with a nail polish formula that cracks like Celadon glaze, it would be really cool.

I love that this color is not too pastel-y. Pretty for spring!

Those are some interesting shorts – they caught my eye right away and I like the look, especially paired with that bracelet. Super cute. 🙂 I have lots of clothes from LOFT as well but I prefer Ann Taylor. I just find the fit in a lot of LOFT sizes “off”. That said, they have great deals and nice looking stuff.
