Ever go through phases where you become totally obsessed with one makeup line? I’m going through one of those right now with Hourglass. 🙂

Soooo, along those lines, I’ve been looking for springy shades to wear with the new Ambient Blushes.

Lush and OrigamiFeast your eyes upon these two Extreme Sheen Lip Gloss pretties! Lush and Origami.

I love how they look by themselves (and atop lipsticks and lip pencils).

The Extreme Sheens ($28 each and available in 13 shades) are among of my favorite glosses. What a formula. So moisturizing, and they have that high-shine, non-sticky thing going for ’em, too. Throw in a light cupcake fragrance, and we’re talking major win.

They’re available now at Sephora and hourglasscosmetics.com.

Both of these shades are definitely perfect for Spring! Hourglass has been killing it lately! The fact that they aren’t sticky and smell like cupcakes I’m totally down! x

Very pretty – I actually checked out some of the darker shades around the holidays. I find the packaging to be really striking. At the time, I had a bunch of glosses on me so it was hard to justify the $28. Though it didn’t seem as bad after I was mesmerized by the Tom Ford collection. 🙂

I’ve been noticing you using the hourglass lippies lately and it made me dig mine out today. LOL I have 4 lipsticks – Raven, Nocturnal, Grace, and WHisper. I have 4 glosses; ignite is with me today but I can’t remember the names of the other ones I have. I have another sheer nudish color with some sparkle and a darker pink and a red.

I really LOVE Hourglass but I don’t have a ton of their products. I just got the ambient powder in dim light and I’m lemming a blush for my birthday. Gee, at least I know what I want this year. LOL

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
