July 19th, 2009 by Karen 11 Comments

I’ve heard Kim Kardashian loves Benefit Lemon Aid eyelid primer, $20. Have you tried it?

I used it when I first discovered Benefit and I found that it creased on me. 🙁

      Hi Marisol,

Oh, that’s too bad. I haven’t busted into mine yet. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed…

I haven’t tried it yet. I think it makes sense since yellow should counteract blue and purple. The creasiness, Marisol mentioned, has me a little wary.

I love love love Benefit’s Lemon Aid!!! I’ll often wear it alone, just to brighten up the eyelid area! If it creases, I just smooth it over with my finger and it’s fine! I bow down at the altar of Lemon Aid!!!

If you use a brush, usually a MAC 224 brush, you can buff it out so there is no creasing. I do find at times though, that it, Lemon-aid is more dry than creamy!

I use this when I run out of UDPP, and it does keep my eyeshadow for creasing….. But maybe because I dont have a very big crease?
    haha.

I have used this for a while now and I find that it doesn’t crease for the most part, but sometimes it does crease on me in the inner corner of my eyes. I do like how it brightens up my eyelid though so if I’m in a huge rush I just put some of it on my lids to brighten it up!

Yeah, I love it too! It can crease, but that’s because my understanding of it is that it’s not so much a primer as a redness reducer. For a white-ass-chica like me, my eyelids tend to be pinkish and you can see some veins. Ew. Lemon Aid gets rid of it all for me! 🙂

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
