These are adorable. I don’t think I collect anything beauty wise.

Ugh oh…letting my hoarder tendencies out in the public…
I have the Lou Lou bottle too!! That fragrance became VERY difficult to find for a while in America.

I too collect little perfume bottles, old make-up, like compacts, lipstick tubes, nail polishes and I have a small cold cream jar and container of Oder-oh-no, antiperspirant.

I have an assortment of tiny toys like Hello Kitty and other Japanese figurines that I like for their colors or shape.
I also like to collect old kitchen glass cooking containers and vintage ceramic planters.

Oh and insulators. None of these I actively pursue but if I see an item that relates I try to buy it if its affordable. I have enough pieces that each has a small group, not any crazy huge collections…tho I do have a LOT of magazines. 😉

Those are cute! I used to collect too many things (stamps, hello kitty stuff, swizzle sticks, My Little Ponies, happy meal toys, and lots of other random stuff). Now I mainly just collect guitar picks (from bands/concerts), and I still have some Hello Kitty things. The great thing about guitar picks is that you can have 1000s of them and they take up almost no space!

Karen, I love that little LouLou bottle! I collect antique cranberry glass (it’s a rose color that comes from firing the glass with gold), and Day of the Dead stuff.

Drop me an email if you want – I have a few minis you can have if you want them.

    xoxo

Not to imply anything, but my mom collects minis too! It’s more for the bottle she says. Anais Anais brings back memories. 🙂

I collect nail polish. It’s a fairly new hobby (or compulsion, however you look at it) but before that and up to the present, I collect hardbound books. Nothing like the smell of leather bindings and the feel of quality thick paper to up the reading experience. (I do own an e-reader but I still love the feel of an actual book over the convenience of technology.)

Besides makeup in general, I collect movies and video games. Books. Practical stuff I guess. 😛

I collect make up. 🙂 Especially pretty powders and palettes, including Guerlain Meteorites Voyage Powders and Chantecaille special edition compacts and palettes. It’s an expensive hobby to have, lol. I also collect scarves, I have 100+. Nothing expensive, just pretty colourful ones, and those very soft winter ones.

Of course I collect make up but I also collect nail polish with last count there was 343 bottles. I also collect note pads of all sizes, I have 100’s of them, but every time I see a new one I have to get it. My husband won’t let me go to Staples anymore. lol

What’s the perfume called that’s to the right of the Miss Dior Cherie? I remember growing up with that fragrance but the name escapes my mind…

I love teeny tiny perfume bottles too! I love it when companies include these in their gift with purchases sometimes.

I used to collect Pokemon and Digimon cards. Now I don’t collect anything.

I didn’t know Cacharel made a set of minis. Where’d you get yours?

I collect small travel sizes of cosmetics. I find them great in my purse or when I am travelling. I especially love the Chanel samples but haven’t seen them for years….so now I have every Clinique mini item in my closet. I also collect cardinals and cat stuff.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
