Hey, BECCA!

I’ve been fairly infatuated with BECCA lately… I’ve been in a big-time BECCA phase, and I’m really looking forward to taking a handful of their products out for a spin this weekend, namely Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation in Bamboo ($42), Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Topaz ($38), Blotting Powder Perfector in Translucent ($38) and Blotting Powder Perfector in Tinted ($38).

I love the few becca things I have and I love that they are available at sephora now! They used to be pretty hard to find locally!

Becca products are now at my local Sephora and I’m itching to give them a test run. They have a foundation shade in Olive. HUGE deal for this green girl 🙂

I’m in love with Becca!!! Just started using their new Ultimate Coverage Creme foundation and I absolutely love it!!! The color Tan is spot on for my skin! I’ve never found a color as perfect for me!

Definitely the skin perfector in opal is my favourite Becca product… I really like it as it’s not overly shimmery/glittery or barely there like other highlighter products I’ve tried.. I also picked up the Radiant Skin Satin Finish foundation after seeing it on your blog awhile back.. it’s ok, it’s a bit too matte for me but I find mixing it with the perfector makes it well perfect lol

I haven’t been able to get their foundation to work for my skin. It’s too flat or something can’t put my finger on it. It also leaves an odd looking color on my cheek area (like a black cast). I’ve tried 2 different colors 2 different occasions had to take it off, just didn’t look right. Going to try Mink and see if that’s a keeper. I’ve been told Becca is great for keeping oily faces matte. I really want it to work! LOL

I love Becca! Their foundations are so amazing! And those lip and eye tints-perfect for a quick look on the go!

A random tid-bit, but i totally have to share it with you. Y’day, I was talking to my Dad about people sometimes not being too kind and he told me something about how we are always receiving love from unknown corners…
He said, “Think of your favorite treat, or drink at a cafe’, and the love that the person who bakes or the barista who brews it, puts in it. You love lipsticks. Think of the makeup artists who created them-they put their love into those, and now you enjoy them. Love and kindness is always out there, we just have to see it.” I love my Papa.

    Happy Caturday, K-Dawg and T-Money! =^.^=

I got the Becca Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation while on a trip to Boston during Spring Break and I’m really loving it. The texture of this powder is so ultra smooth & soft, it’s so nice to apply. I usually use a matte powder foundation but this one is less flat, more satiny and very lovely even on my oily skin.

I don’t readily have BECCA products available locally, but my last trip to Toronto, I grabbed the rose gold powder. SO GORGEOUS!

I’ve wanted to try Becca stuff ever since I saw Lisa Eldridge use the shimmering skin perfectors and the beach tint! So envious of your weekend Becca time, LOL 😀

    Hi,

Love your blog. I am also MAC NC42. What color would you say is a match in the becca duo compact concealer?

    Thanks
    Stephanie

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
