You’ll Find Treasures Untold in Sonia Kashuk’s Spring Treasures Collection

sonia kashuk spring treasures

Shiver me makeup timbers, mateys! I’d walk the plank to get me grubby makeup pirate hands on Sonia Kashuk’s new limited edition Spring Treasures collection!

captain-jack-sparrow

Aye, methinks Captain Jack Sparrow (that eyeliner-wearing scallywag!) would go to great lengths for the treasures in this five-piece collection of beauty tools and sassy spring makeup.

I can’t wait for those cheerful coral-print bags, and my first mate, Tabs, has his eye on the highlighter and palette.

Who knows if the pale colors will work with my skin (I’m tan from sailing the high seas!), but I’d still like to give ’em a go.

Look for the Spring Treasures collection at your nearby house of Tar-ghay (aka Target) this spring, lasses.

Your swashbuckling pirate beauty addict,

Karen

I wish they sold Sonia Kashuk stuff here in Taiwan! Her line is so nice and it’s cheap! Oh well I’ll just have to see if my cuz in Cali can pick some of this up for me and mail it here. I love the brush set! So cute!

      Hi Ellery,

I’ve been wondering how things have been with you. I’ve missed “chatting” with ya here. 🙂 I hope that things have been getting better for you and your family.

Regarding the brushes, I am very excited about ’em, too. Aren’t they cute? I love the highlighting brush!

I picked up the highlighting brush (didn’t need it because my Posh Kabuki rocks and I just got an Ecotools retractable kabuki but there you go…I’m addicted).
It has the cutest handle and is soft enough to satisfy me.
Not THE best kabuki but looks soooo adorable on vanity lol.

Am I the only one that thinks those brushes are weird looking?! I think if they were just laying on a table, you’d never know they were supposed to look like coral!

      Hi Julia,

LOL, I guess they aren’t for everyone. Maybe if they did a set with white handles it would look more coral-y?

Karen, this line is almost as cute as your pirate brogue! Well, as I assume it may sound since I’m only reading it but you know what I mean! I love the brush handles! So whimsical. Do you like the Sonia Kashuk brushes? I’ve heard good things about them but I’m a born skeptic. Since I can’t spend on makeup like I used to, are these brushes a good alternative to the pricier brushes or should I just take extra special care of my expensive brushes and try to make them last forever (since I probably won’t be able to replace them in forever)?

      Hi Sole,

I really like Sonia’s brushes. I think that they perform well for the price and they’re sturdy! If you do end up checking them out be sure to buy the ones with the black handles (not the ones with the white handles). The black handled brushes are *much* softer. I did a couple reviews last year to some. Here are the links:

those brushes look…strange! they might look better if they looked a little more natural (instead of blingy silver), but they are unique! props to SK for doing cool things w/ drugstore line. i wish other lines went out on such limbs. 🙂

I was at Target Saturday night picking up last minute goodies for my kiddies easter baskets when i spotted these new additions to sonia kashuk. Who am i kidding?!?! I went surfing the makeup section intentionally, but we won’t tell hubby that as he thought i was only there for a few easter things. *wink, wink* The collection is adorable. The bright coral screams springs & i LOVE how she tied sea coral & the coral color altogether. The brushes were typical sonia kashuk quality which is great! The handles are a bit bulky, but if you like to collect unique brush sets than this is perfect! Sonia’s got another hit in my book!
