Karen, i miss going to your site. Been so busy working.
I love your accent. It’s sooo nice!! 🙂 Unlike mine.. British Aussie hahahahah =P

Have you tried Giorgio Armani Face Fabric? If you haven’t, try it!! 🙂 It’s really really nice. It’s similar to Shu Uemura Face Architect Fluid Foundation.

I might have to get my bff a pocket rocket lipgloss…I was with her when she had a Victoria’s Secret one in her back pocket, she sat down and SPLAT! Pink goo was spilling out of her pocket.
    Love the videos Karen!

Wait 5 months till summer comes..
lol in London we had no summer this year!!…just 3 random super-hot days in early September.
    I need a holiday!! I need sun!!

I like Urban Decay eyeliners but im so used to my other brands I find it hard to imagine myself buying any of the new line! The lipsticks do look very pretty…. but im not sure! I dont hesitate on wasting a paycheck on Mac or Guerlain but now im all stingy over a lipstick!!

Well I am sure you have spring fever right now like me because it’s SO freakin nice here lately! I gotta say I am one of those people who didn’t like Big Fatty at all. The brush was SO large and dense that I could barely get mascara onto my lashes. Quite bizarre, I have never had an experience like it. So I mainly use Diorshor, which is the best I have ever used! I love Urban Decay eye liners and eye shadows so I am looking forward to all their new stuff!

    Hi Vanessa H,

EEK! That’s something I would do, ha! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone clubbing and hated having that tube bulge out of my pocket.

Hope you’re having a good day so far!

    Hi Tali,

Funny, when I visited London a few years ago I was there on one of those super hot days. Every memory I have of your city is connected to the heat…

The lipstick is pretty nice. I wore it yesterday. It’s very sheer and moisturizing.

    Hi YadiQ,

I wore a few of the items from Urban Decay Spring 2009 yesterday and I really liked the liners. You were right — they are fantastic. 🙂

I didn’t try them on my waterline, though… have you?

You have a fabulous day, too!

    Hi Vampy Varnish,

I used to be a die hard big mascara brush person, but lately I’ve been lovin’ on the short, stubby brushes. They seem to really coat the lashes thoroughly.

Hee hee! I need a pocket rocket! Seriously, I need to be able to stash a lipgloss without carrying my purse everywhere! Would it be too much to wish for that there’s an SPF factor?

    Happy Wednesday, girl! 🙂

    Hi Glosslizard,

I hope it has spf… and that it’s not too sticky. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! I always wanted a flat gloss (seriously? why didn’t I patent this idea? DOH!) so I’m all over this like cheese on macaroni!

Doing anything exciting today? I am loving this sunshine. 🙂

Karen! You crack me up. Thanks for the heads up on these. I’m so into seeing the Pocket Rocket lipgloss. Sounds intriguing…and so does the palette. I’m into branching out from MAC lately…ever since I bought my first Stila stuff in December.

Today we are leaving this glorious weather to head up to Seattle for a five day snow trip! Crazy? Yes, but what can I say, we planned this a year ago! *rolls eyes*

You should start jotting down your makeup ideas! I’ll bet you’ve got some great ones, and I know there are lawyers around to help with patents and presentations to potential investors. You could probably make some bucks! Next up… Karen Cosmetics! 😀

    Hi Shefali,

MAC makes some fantastic makeup, but there are lots of great products from other brands too, yah? It’s fun to discover them.

    How is the studying going?

Ha! If I did ever have a line Tabs would have to be my spokesmodel. Knowing him he’d charge me an a arm and a leg (and a tail), though, for his cat model services. 🙂

    Hi Karen.

I was thinking of Cali. 🙂 But for my honeymoon(which isn’t for another year or two) I was thinking Hawaii since I heard the beaches are beautiful!

Oh btw, how is your friend liking the pie (if she has attempted it)?

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
