Coming soon! The new Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Collection

mia-wallaceBe cool, honey bunny. Be cool!

Try to contain your excitement (“try” being the key word here), Pulp Fiction fans, when you check out the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction collection.

The fall launch commemorates the 20-year anniversary of the movie that gave us phrases like, “Bring out the gimp,” and the products are all designed around one of the flick’s iconic characters, Mrs. Mia Wallace (played by the gorgeous Uma Thurman).

“I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.”

— Mrs. Mia Wallace

Here’s a quick look at the five-piece collection, which is coming July 16 to Urban Decay counters at Sephora, Ulta and select Macy’s stores, and online to sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com.

  • Pulp Fiction Palette, an eye palette with five shades of Eyeshadow (three new, two repromotes), including Righteous (a matte light cream), Tyranny (a matte warm brown), Vengeance (a satiny matte deep taupe-brown), Furious (a satiny white) and Anger (a satiny black with a slight sparkle). Limited edition, $34.
  • Revolution Lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace, a deep blood red lipstick. Limited edition, $22.
  • 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Mrs. Mia Wallace, a blood red pencil that matches the lipstick. Limited edition, $20.
  • Nail Color in Mrs. Mia Wallace, a deep red with a slight shimmer. Limited edition, $15.
  • Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner, a black with black and silver sparkle. Limited edition, $19.

This collection is awesome! I might feel that way because I love the movie. But either way. Love neutral eyes and red lips!

Yeah you do! Then you have to wear it and enter a twist contest. 🙂

Sadly I never saw the movie until two days ago. I watched it because I feel you need to before you buy anything inspired by it! I enjoyed it and usually I am not the biggest fan of Tarantino films (they are either hit or miss with me).

Want the palette! The nail polish is tempting but their formula chips on me quickly 🙁 the palette is a must. I love the packaging and I am so happy to see some great swatches!

      Hi Elena,

I feel the same about Tarantino films. I’ve watched a few where I felt were heavy on the style but light on character development and story.

Since we’re talking about movies…what are your top 3?

Ah, Karen…top 3 movies? That is tough.

Like I enjoy movies but sometimes you have to drag me to the theater (unless it is hot as heck outside!).

My bf is the movie buff. I really can’t think of a movie I could watch over and over again! But speaking of Quentin Tarantino, I did enjoy Django Unchained. And I recently saw the new X-Men movie and it was pretty decent. Also Captain America: The Winter Soldier was really good too.

I guess I should hit the theater! I really want to see Lucy! It looks good!

And I suppose now that I think about it, a few series I have enjoyed (cause I can’t pick 3) are the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Those were movies when I was younger I was SO excited for and had to go to the midnight release! And I love Alice in Wonderland! The original animated one. I studied the novel in college and it made me enjoy it more (even though it is trippy for being a kids movie/book).

Thank you for posting this! I am interested in the palette, but the only pictures I had seen online were the press release photos. I’m so glad you swatched everything and took packaging photos from all sides.

May have to re-watch Pulp Fiction! I love that UD does fun collections like this. Tarantino films are hit or miss with me, too. Pulp Fiction is a classic, though. So many palettes that are looking like “must haves” this year…

Okay, cue the barrage of shocked responses and disbelief but I have never seen Pulp Fiction. It’s on the top of my to-watch list though, so I’m definitely going to see it at some point.
Nothing here really actually speaks to me that much.. These are very beautiful basics (the neutral palette and red lips) but nothing that can’t be duped in the long run. I’ll pass thanks.

      Amanda,

Don’t feel bad, I’ve never seen it either. It was on last weekend and my husband made me sit down and watch the diner scene with the $5 shake, that’s all I have seen of the movie. I felt like it didn’t live up to the hyoe, but then I didn’t watch the whole movie.

This is such a great movie tribute for UD to do! I really like the look of the lipstick and pencil 🙂 The eyeliner is pretty spiffy looking too, and I get what they were going for with the eyeshadow palette, but I’m so over neutrals right now, LOL!

These are all a bit too dramatic for me but the Pulp Fiction tie-in is awesome. I love the movie and the soundtrack. It’s funny because I just said yesterday “Zed’s dead, baby… Zed’s dead”. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. Yikes.

My husband and I watched “Pulp Fiction” on our very first date! So that lipstick is a must for me! I loved the movie, enough to go on a second date, LOL! The palette is a little too dramatic for my coloring, but I will rock that lipstick!

Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie but the colors in the eye shadow palette are just too ordinary. At first glance they look like the shadows in the Naked Basics palette.
