Urban Decay’s recently relaunched collection of long-wearing, waterproof 24/7 Glide-On Pencils has been known to drive makeup lovers bat-sh*t crazy (in the best possible way).
The brand recently added 13 new shades and 14 previously released limited edition colors to their permanent line, bumping up the total number of available shades to 40.
40!
Heck, on most days I’m lucky if I can decide between Perversion and Bourbon. Forget being able to decide among 40 shades.
And the rainbow of colors comes in a range of finishes, too, like matte, shimmer, sparkle and satin.
Here are pics and swatches of the new and previously released shades… Let me know if any of these pencils draws you in. (Haha, draws? Get it? Okay, I’ll stop.)
Keep an eye out for these at Sephora, Ulta and select Macy’s stores (available now). Oh, and they’re also available online.

Aww, bummer! Do you use primer? That might help.
I have Empire from the Smoked set and I highly recommend it for purple liner lovers. I think Loaded looks like an interesting new green liner.

I wore loaded today and it’s really pretty. What color are your eyes? If they’re brown, they’ll look phenomenal with that color!

I’m so glad they are bringing back previously limited edition colors! Corrupt was my all time favorite. These things are so awesome. I brought them on vacation to Hawaii two years ago, and Bourbon was what I wore daily. It lasted through everything!

Sooooo happy to hear that some of these ones released in collections I couldn’t get are permanent! That navy LSD pencil is calling my name! I am also a huge fan of Junkie – I paired it with the Morphine shadow pencil and they go together well.

Me too. It’s a bummer when your fave pencil is LE and you’ve worn it down to the stub! I’ll be crying glittery tears when that happens with my Becca Cabrera pencil.
Anywho, I’ll have to try your Junkie/Morphine combo next time I’m in the mood for something new.

How are these with staying put on water lines… given the 24/7 part I assume they are great, but wanted to check. I’m pretty new to wearing any liner, but I want to use it more and have been experimenting with cheap drug store pencils to save the wallet! Now I’m being indecisive about which brand to go with for higher end stuff.
I’ve been prioritizing them, so I’m going to need Ether and Chaos first, I think they’re the perfect spring into summer shades. Then eventually desperation, sabbath, and probably mushroom. And of course a new perversion. Eek.
I’d been plotting a Stila Smudge Stick in Perriwinkle so I’m thrilled to see Chaos! Even prettier, better on my eyes.
I definitely need Junkie. Whiskey is my pretty-much-daily liner but it’s a tad light and shimmery. I think I could get very attached to Junkie. 🙂
Oooh, great! Just when I’m planning to buy my first ever UD eye pencil. I think Sabbath and / or Junkie will go best with my blue-grey eyes.
I’d love to try Smog and Delinquent, they look lovely, but I’m not too sure either about colour or about the glitter…

I went through this post 3 times and yet I can’t pick 1-2 shades, there are just so many lovely shades! Loved the shimmery browns, teals and purples in particular!
Ok… I want them all!!!! So many “precious” colors!!! Sméagol like them all! ops!!!
