They say that history repeats itself, and if that proves correct, then my sweet tooth and I will devour every last treat in the new Too Faced Holiday 2012 collection!

Un-luckily for my muffin top (she says “HAAAY!” by the way), these indulgences are calorie free.

Pre-Tabs

That post this morning on the new MBB galleries got me thinking about the pre-Tabs era when he still deciding if I was going to be his permanent assistant…

So I went looking through some old photos today, and I actually found the very first Tabs pic, EVAH!

Please allow me to introduce myself…

I think he was just shy of a year old in this shot and coming to the end of his kitten hood.

Um…even way back then he looked pretty darn husky, LOL! Little did I know the depths of crazy cat lady-ness I would eventually reach. Funny how one (now 18-pound) kitty can totally change your life. 🙂

Anywho, enough CCL talk. How was your day? Paws up or paws down?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I always love Too Faced Holiday collections! This year the packaging is a tad bit disappointing for me but the makeup itself seems incredible. I’ll definitely have to get something. Thanks for sharing 🙂

When I saw the photo of the Color Confections Kit, I started thinking (in a robot voice): “Ro-bot Pal-lette. Ro-bot Pal-lette. Too Faced has a Ro-bot Face Pal-lette.”

I am so weird. I just cracked myself up.

I must admit, I generally am not attracted to Too Faced palettes because I don’t like the packaging, but that Love Sweet Love palette is GORGEOUS!

    Hi karen,
I’m just curious, what size is the make up bag from love set?

As big as urban decay’s quinterrie bag (i also read your post about it, so tempting! Sadly it’s discontinued) ..

Or at least is it fit for ud’s naked palette?

    Thank you ^^

My “hangy thing” is telling your “muffin top” that I’m gonna need that Spun Sugar and Bon Bon palettes! I don’t know how many neutral eye shadows a girl needs, but I think that the answer to that is “there are never enough!” And Tabs was so adorable when he was new, I prefer my men more substantial, you should be proud for taking in a down on his luck kitty model! 🙂

At first I thought the colors looked oh so lovely but once I saw the quote “When I saw you I fell in love. And you smiled because you knew.” as attributed to Shakespeare; I just shook my head. Shakespeare definitely did not say that, and I can’t believe a major company couldn’t be bothered to do any research. Uggh

These products look great for the holidays, but the “William Shakespeare” quote is not by Shakespeare at all. I’m disappointed that Too Faced would make such a mistake on their packaging.

I wanted the Sephora Sweet Indulgence palette, but now that I think about it, half the shades were in last years set and the previous year. I want the tin box though!

Just wondering, have the swatches of Bon bons and Confection switched places?

I love Too Faced palettes and I definitely want to snag one (or more) of these for myself. Thanks for the pictures and swatches.

How awesome to see early pic of Tabs! I never had any pets growing up and didn’t really think about getting a pet as an adult. Ha, it’s funny how things change. 🙂 I never thought I’d end up a crazy cat lady, but now I can’t imgine my life without my furry babies.

For me, pans of lip gloss in an otherwise pressed powder palette is a deal breaker. Lucky for my budget, I guess, pretty much this whole collection is a no-go!

Sadly, the Spun Sugar Galmour To Go looks like it has shades I already have in the Dream Edition! I still “kind of” want it… I can wait till Urban Outfitters has it for $3!XDDDDD

    hei,
thanks for the pretty pics and swatches! Could it be that Color Confections and Shadow Bon Bon-swatch pictures are accidentally mixed up? I was trying to connec the colours to those in the palette photos, so I thought that they looked not right. It is especially the green shade in Color Confections that made me notice.

I just ordered today for the Sweet Indulgence palette! It was a really tough choice going back and forth for that, the Bon Bons collection or the Love Sweet Love set. I do however have to give Too Faced some credit, they DO make awesome packaging than some other brands I’ve seen. It’s some of the products they choose to put in their collections.I do however wished they put a gloss tube in the Sweet Indulgence palette. I don’t like the glosses that are out and open next to eye shadows/powders like the other palettes.Contaminating the glosses is a no-no!!They are trying and I think they’re wonderful products.
