The Brow Benefits of Tweezerman for Benefit Beauty Tools

March 18th, 2010 by Karen 36 Comments

Do you remember my affair with Raul? What a terrible mistake… Obviously, we weren’t right for each other. He knew it; I knew it, but when it ended, Benefit was there for me. Like a trusted friend, they had my back (and my brows). 🙂

That’s because Benefit knows brows. Their kick-ass brow kits, Brow Bar services and new partnership with Tweezerman promise to keep millions of eyebrows out of trouble.

Tweezerman for Benefit

The new four-piece Tweezerman for Benefit collection offers tools to tweeze, shape and curl your way out of beastly brow/lash oblivion!

  • Tweezerman for Benefit Slant Tweezer ($25): a tweezer for day-to-day brow upkeep
  • Tweezerman for Benefit Pointed Slant Tweezer ($30): a precision tweezer with a pointed tip for hard-to-reach hairs
  • Tweezerman for Benefit Brow Shaping Brush ($12): a retractable travel comb for brow brushing
  • Tweezerman for Benefit ProCurl Curler ($20): a lash curler to fit all eye shapes (includes three replacement pads)

Three of the four Tweezerman for Benefit tools

Aren’t the yellow and white tweezers the cutest?? 🙂 Find them and the other tools starting next week at Benefit boutiques, counters and Ulta stores (but not at Sephora), as well as benefitcosmetics.com as of April 5.

Benefit Pointed Slant Tweezer ($30)

Oh, and if you’re a frequent visitor to Benefit’s Brow Bars, you can get a close look at the new Tweezerman for Benefit tools because they’ll be used by all of the company’s aestheticians.

Fun facts about the Benefit Brow Bar…

  • The first Brow Bar opened in 2003 at Macy’s Union Square in San Francisco
  • Today there are 500 Brow Bars in 22 countries
  • Somewhere around the globe, there’s a Benefit employee arching a customer’s brow every minute of every day

Tweezerman for Benefit ProCurl Curler ($20)

Tweezerman for Benefit Brow Shaping Brush ($12)

I’d look like this unfortunate fellow if it weren’t for my Tweezerman, so my excess facial hair and I can’t wait to give these a try (reviews coming soon). I’m all over it like frosting on red velvet cupcakes!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. FINALLY! Friday. 🙂 I’m still kinda recovering from my one beer last night (cheap date), LOL! I think I’ll just chill at home tonight and maybe rent a movie. Whatcha doin’?

P.P.S. If you’re new here, thank you for visiting. Makeup and Beauty Blog is a makeup blog with daily product reviews, beauty tips, giveaways and the random shenanigans of a crazy cat lady/makeup enthusiast named Karen (that’s me!). 🙂

Ha! You are a cheap date. But nothing wrong with that. I am still recovering from drinking every day since Friday. Staying in tonight.

I was always surprised that Benefit didn’t sell their own (or another brand’s) tweezers especially at the beauty bars. I think that’s all they use. I was going to go tomorrow to the MV one but I may hold off until next week so I can check them out.,

You’re a rockstar. If I was 23 I would totally have been able to hang with you!

What are you thinking about picking up at the MV store? I haven’t been there in forever.

I am 30 and barely hanging on today.

I am not sure. I have my gift card which i am going to use wisely. I was going to get my brows done and see what’s new. Anything you recommend?

Do you have Sugarbomb yet? The Powderazzi set (w/Hoola, Coralista and Dallas) is great too.

Ooh, and can’t forget about spring shadows! I really like Buns, Nice Melons and Mermaid.

Oh, the yellow checker board tweezer is so cute (although I have seen fancier tweezerman with metallic background and rose pattern in TJ maxx) but I will probably go with the plain Tweezerman since they are cheaper and come with more styles!

P.S. I think my eyebrows would look pretty scary without all those hair removal tools (I started to pluck them since I was in 4th grade and they never stopped growing…argh…)

I was too chicken to (maybe I though I was so cool so there wasn’t any need to ask other on trivial matters like that) do so, I think I started using my dad’s razor (yeah…) first and then found my mom’s random tweezers because I swear my two brows were starting to join back then.

As a matter of fact, I did poke my eye with them…

    cheers!

I’ve never gotten any Tweezerman tweezers since the price has always turned me off (being on a student budget has its drawbacks >___<) but are these tweezers REALLY that much better? Is it the way its shaped?? I mean, there's got to be a reason for the outrageous price!

Oh my goodness, Karen. I am right there with you. I had a pretty hefty (for me) number of libations on St. Patty’s (ha!) and it took me until today to recover. I felt so ill all day yesterday, so I hit the powerade pretty hard. I’m only 22, but I never drink, so when I do, I feel it. Woof. Hope you get to feeling better soon! Hydrate and be good to yourself!

It’s really hard for me to leave my current brow waxer. She’s been doing my brows for years and it only costs me $15! She does makes mistakes now and then causing me to go about a month before my next waxing just to grow out the parts she has butchered on me. I do like the tweezers – I may have to pick up a pair.

Also, I think you mentioned you wax your own upper lip? What kind of wax do you use? I am thinking of doing this on my own to save myself $10. I’m just afraid of getting some kind of allergic reaction to whatever brand I end up buying.

Cute Tweezerman items! I really want to visit a brow bar, but my Sephora and Ulta don’t have them. I tried finding locations in my area, but the Benefit site only shows locations that sell their products. Or maybe I’m not searching correctly. Thanks for sharing this with us, because I really need brow help. My brows grow differently and in different planes on my face, so it makes it hard to get eye makeup to look even.

My hubby hasb been gone all week, so he has my son today and my daughter is at acting class. I am taking myself out into the wonderful sunshine (and short sleeve weather) and going shopping. I think I’ve given up my no-buy for Lent, so Sephora here I come! We’ll just hang out tonight and maybe eat supper on the patio and watch some March Madness games. I’m ahead of hubby in the brackets right now!

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
