The Bronze Goddess Is Back: Estee Lauder Summer 2010

February 16th, 2010 by Karen 76 Comments

(NOTE: I think the blue item is Liquid Eyeshadow in Aqua Flash)

Officially, my summer lust is ON like Donkey Kong. I *wish* we could just hop on a plane to someplace warm today, ladies. I need tropical mischief, and there are few things more fun than a girls-only vacay, ya know?

OOH! I could bring along ALL OF MY PICTURES OF TABS (every group needs a designated crazy cat lady) and Estee Lauder’s summery Bronze Goddess 2010 collection. Don’t worry if you forget your blush — we’ll just share mine.

I thought the 2008 and 2009 Bronze Goddess releases were phenomenal; hopefully this year’s is too.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess

Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow in Aqua Flash, $17.50
Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow in Molten Brown, $17.50
Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow in Sand Shimmer, $17.50
Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow in Ultra Violet, $17.50
Bronze Goddess Exotic Lip Gloss in Wild Coral, $18
Bronze Goddess Exotic Lip Gloss in Wild Orchid, $18
Bronze Goddess Exotic Bronzing Blush, $35
Bronze Goddess Bronzing Gel, $28.50
Bronze Goddess Solid Perfume Pendant, $75

Your friendly neighborhood [sunshine] addict,

Karen

P.S. I’m trying to confirm the list of products in the collection; if I find out that anything’s missing here, I’ll update the post. 🙂

We could always charter a plane to the tropics. That’s what they do in the movies. 🙂

I don’t even know what chartering a plane means, lol!

The one on the left is a shadow; the one on the right is a gloss. EL handles brights pretty well — it’s never too over the top, but you can still see it! Give it a try… you never know. 🙂

I swatched that blue eyeshadow and it is AMAZING! It’s at Nordstroms now, and the whole collection is amazing. The pink leopard-wiggly print bronzer is super golden and pinky, and the blue eyeshadow is super vibrant and if smudged enough, it makes a gorgeous electric blue smoky eyeliner. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I am actually having a snow day today, musing about this collection and all the other summertime releases..
summertime, please come? (talking about the season, not just my name! Haha)

That teal is AMAZING. Not to rub salt in the makeup would, but it is really great layered on top of that pencil… oy! I really hope you find it at the CCO. I was just at the one in Napa on Sat. and couldn’t find squat.

OW OW OW OW OW!!!! (salt being rubbed in my wounds . . .) 🙁 The Vacaville CCO should be getting another shipment in the next week or two (at least that’s what they told me when I was there last time). I always hear that the Napa CCO is better stocked than the Vacaville one. I’ll keep hoping, though! 🙂

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
