(NOTE: I think the blue item is Liquid Eyeshadow in Aqua Flash)
Officially, my summer lust is ON like Donkey Kong. I *wish* we could just hop on a plane to someplace warm today, ladies. I need tropical mischief, and there are few things more fun than a girls-only vacay, ya know?
OOH! I could bring along ALL OF MY PICTURES OF TABS (every group needs a designated crazy cat lady) and Estee Lauder’s summery Bronze Goddess 2010 collection. Don’t worry if you forget your blush — we’ll just share mine.
I thought the 2008 and 2009 Bronze Goddess releases were phenomenal; hopefully this year’s is too.

Your friendly neighborhood [sunshine] addict,
Karen
P.S. I’m trying to confirm the list of products in the collection; if I find out that anything’s missing here, I’ll update the post. 🙂
For a second thought that Estée Lauder had made a bright blue lipgloss… Hahaha.
Ha! I kinda wish it was!
We could always charter a plane to the tropics. That’s what they do in the movies. 🙂
I don’t even know what chartering a plane means, lol!
Wouldn’t that be fun? I could use a tropical vacay right now.
blue lipgloss??
I wish! I’m pretty sure that’s the Liquid Eyeshadow in Aqua Flash.
I always love EL’s collections, and this is no exception! I’m excited about this and Chanel’s summer collection. And I’m super-ready for summer. Thanks for sharing this bright preview of things to come :).
You and me both! Bring on the sunshine, sandals and summer dresses! 🙂
While I would love a tropical vacation, I think those eyeshadows are a little bright for me.
The one on the left is a shadow; the one on the right is a gloss. EL handles brights pretty well — it’s never too over the top, but you can still see it! Give it a try… you never know. 🙂
I swatched that blue eyeshadow and it is AMAZING! It’s at Nordstroms now, and the whole collection is amazing. The pink leopard-wiggly print bronzer is super golden and pinky, and the blue eyeshadow is super vibrant and if smudged enough, it makes a gorgeous electric blue smoky eyeliner. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I am actually having a snow day today, musing about this collection and all the other summertime releases..
summertime, please come? (talking about the season, not just my name! Haha)
Good to know! Thanks for the heads up. 🙂
AHH!!!!!!! Just came from Jamaica last week and I ENJOYED MYSELF!!!!! I can’t wait to go someplace else after school ends. That was a much needed vacay during the bitter cold here in chicago.
Lucky! How was your trip? I’ve always wanted to go to Jamaica!
I like the bronzer but that eyeshadow looks like something I bought before. I know these makeup companies just keeps on recycling the same stuff over and over and over again.
A lot of companies do the liquid shadow thing… I kinda like it! It’s an easy way to put on a quick wash of color.
Estee Lauder never seems to get a lot of credit, but it’s the first makeup I ever used so I adore it <3 <3 <3
I think the line needs to get more love, too. Their 2009 collections were amazing! I hope they continue to do great stuff for 2010, too. 🙂
Ohhh, I’m sooo sick of winter! By this time in Missouri, the wintery weather is usually going away. This year it is not…….. So I’m hoppin’ on the makup and beauty blog plane with all ya’ll and headin’ someplace WARM. I’ll even bring fresh brownies to nosh on the way..
Oh and I love the solid perfume pendant!
YES! There’s nothing like brownies to brighten up the road trip!!
I tried the bronzing..lotion..I think it was…amazing!!! Great scent and color! I’ll bring pictures of my cat too! lol
.-= Aleksis’s last blog post… Valentine’s day dinner+some random purchases! =-.
The more crazy cat ladies the merrier, Aleksis!
I love the packaging!
Me too. Have you smelled the Bronze Goddess scent? It smells like the beach!
I’m not usually that crazy for summer, but we have some killer collections to look forward to this year! I love the Exotic Bronzing Blush and I want to see all the liquid eyeshadows!
I go buck wild for summer collections! 🙂 Hopefully I can stop by Nordies in the next day or so to get some swatches.
It’s almost the end of summer here in Australia. I loathe summer so much and I’m glad it’s going away 😀 Next year, I’ll swap with some of you 🙂
I’ll happily switch with you! Right now it actually isn’t too bad — it’s foggy in the morning, but clears up in the afternoon. It’s comfortable enough to go outside with a sweater on. I’d rather much have hot weather, though!
LOL at taking every picture of Tabs with you, I always have a few back-up pictures of Pepa in my cam! Ah, yes, Summertime…it’s gone on holiday here, yesterday it rained like hell and today’s cloudy…a bit of bright makeup could help! 😀

Bright makeup always helps. Maybe something with blues and greens?
I know a bunch of readers are going to yell at me….I’m in Southern California, the sun is shining and it is 78 degrees out. If I could, I would send this weather to all of you!!!
In the meantime, this collection looks beautiful and can make even the coldest of days seem just a bit warmer! Summer, he we come!

Over the past few years I’ve developed a serious love for animal print. I love zebra and cheetah prints, esp!
aaaaahhhhhh Aqua Flash! Just from that picture I want.
That would look so pretty on you. MAYBE YOU’LL BREAK YOUR NO BUY??? LOL, I’m such an enabler…
Enabler alert! Enabler alert!
Do you know when it comes out? I may have to bribe my mom or sister to get it for me. It’s time to get crafty!

Niiice! Let the groveling begin… LOL

I’m really interested in seeing if the Liquid Eyeshadows crease, even when used as a base. That Aqua Flash colour is GORGEOUS though *__*
Me too! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
I *loved* (and still do, I suppose) the palette from last year!! I’m anxiously hoping that it shows up at the CCO so I can get one for my good friend, who missed out on it last year.
That palette and the dual-ended blue pencil are two of my top EL faves. Man that was good stuff… gotta wipe the drool of my chin, LOL!
I didn’t get the double ended pencil at the time. Yes, I still kick myself for it! I looked as hard for it as I did for the palette for my friend . . . Keep your fingers crossed for me that they show up at the CCO!
I think the teal in that palette was what convinced me that I could play with color . . . That and reading your blog and a couple of others! 🙂
That teal is AMAZING. Not to rub salt in the makeup would, but it is really great layered on top of that pencil… oy! I really hope you find it at the CCO. I was just at the one in Napa on Sat. and couldn’t find squat.
OW OW OW OW OW!!!! (salt being rubbed in my wounds . . .) 🙁 The Vacaville CCO should be getting another shipment in the next week or two (at least that’s what they told me when I was there last time). I always hear that the Napa CCO is better stocked than the Vacaville one. I’ll keep hoping, though! 🙂
If I ever see it when I go there I will definitely let you know. I live a little closer to it now so hopefully I’ll be able to check at least once a month.
My trip was great thanks for asking! I wore the prettiest dresses with jeweled flip flops and simple makeup…….oh and unlimited drinks too lol
Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Well, if I ever go I’ll be sure to ask you what spots I need to hit up!
A, the perfume pendant looks like a real jewelry!
.-= diane’s last blog post… Not another Valentine’s day outfit =-.
It does! The packaging is so elegant!
I love the Bronze Goddess perfume, so will definatly be checking out the solid version. I wear that scent mostly during summer but also will spritz it on in winter when I’m feeling blue, it transports me to a sunnier, happier place instantly!
I love the scent, too. Have you tried the body oil? It’s all sorts of amazing, and the spray never clogs…
Can I join the holiday? PLEASE!!! I absolutely, desperately need one!!! And, PLEASE, I want the whole EL collection! It’s stunning!
Karen, if you bring Tab’s pics I will watch them. ALL!
Yes, girl, get on the plane!! The more the merrier.
And oooh, you don’t know what you got yourself into. I have A LOT of pictures of my cat. It’s what crazy cat ladies do, ya know?
Thanks sooo much for the info and the pics!! I hope there’s more, like the classic Bronze Goddess perfume ( liquid) , the oil and the body lotion, and the sunscreens!!
Oh, I loooove the body oil! Do you have the perfume? I hope they bring it back so I can pick it up. 🙂
Haha that note at the top of the post was a great idea! otherwise the comments would have just been frantic speculation about where one is supposed to put that blue goo! I wish the answer would have been lips…
.-= knownever’s last blog post… ACK! Life Attack! =-.
Me too! I would definitely be intrigued by a blue lipgloss.
Just something funny,
I thought the blue eyeshadow bottle was lip gloss!
I thought yo myself “BLUE LIP GLOSS?!?!?!?!”
haha, great blog Karen!
Thanks Francesca! 🙂
I’ll take two!
Michele
I have the opportunity to work @ Nordstroms (chanel counter) and the estee lauder counter is right next to mine…i walked into work this morning and saw that collection and IMMEDIATELY purchased the aqua and violet…OMG….the aqua is AMAZING!!! i even went as far as to mix the two together….wow…what a pow!!!…when i was in the 8th grade that was my favorite color combination THE CHARLOTTE HORNETS COLORS (if anyone knows who they are..lol)…anywho…the violet is cool by itself and can even be used as a base for purple powder shadow to give it that extra umph…but i just know that i’m going to have fun with this aqua….
For some random reasons, the blue and orange (eyeshadow/gloss) remind me of the glosses from Milani spring collection…
