The Private Affair palette is making my spider sense tingle. Something tells me it would look great on cool-toned girls!

And then there’s the baked eyeshadow trio in the Close Up Kit… love

The Private Affair palette is wonderful and a must have! I purchased it last month @ Sephora when it came out. The colors are very pigmented (love, love the dark wine colors) and I have NC50 skin. The primer is great too!

Ooooh, the private affair palette is just lovely…I think the colors might look better on my sister though, so I may end up getting this for her or at least telling her to check it out. : ) She has such pretty brown eyes and I think the two purple-ish shades on the right would make them look great!

OOoOh I love the private affair palette! It looks like it would be a nice alternative for someone who doesn’t find the UD Naked palette bold enough. I think I need both lol

Does anyone know if Lorac is sold anywhere in the UK? Or even in the sephora’s in France? Any help would be greatly appreciated x

I just bought the Private Affair set today and love it!
Wish it was full blown fall and I’d wear it every day. The color pigment is so intense and what a great value. Truthfully I had purchased Tarte Ten commorative palette at Sephora the other day and returned it due to much problems…..bad smell to the packaging, fallout, etc. Private Affair is a much better deal and the quality is tops!

The Private Affair palette was recommended to me, specifically for its wine shades. I’m very curious about it, and likely to swatch it for myself. I’m not sure if I’ll end up purchasing it or not. I am, however, eyeing the UD Book of Shadows 3.

Oh, the palette has just the right colours for me! Sigh – will not get them here in Europe. And it is even affordable! beauties, you in the US truly live in the beauty heaven. You should know that 🙂

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
