Is it just me, or does autumn seem like the hottest new holiday season? — because it feels like the latest and greatest, most bustling time of year to me.
It’s almost like the powers that be know ALL. THE. THINGS on my to-do list right now, including…
- Traipsing through piles of autumn leaves (no, seriously, Connor has preschool homework this week that involves gathering fallen leaves!)
- Driving the coywolf to and from various toddler events, of which, surprisingly, there are many
- Researching lighting fixtures for a half-bathroom remodel (who knew there were so many different types of lighting fixtures?)
- Low-key freaking out about everything (which isn’t actually on my to-list, but it’s something I’m doing anyway)
Wander Beauty seems to *GET* this, because all of their new makeup and skin care launches for fall 2019 focus on getting you ready in a flash, so you can conquer the world! — or, at least conquer the bus ride to work or the morning school drop-off.

And, as always, everything from their line of travel-friendly makeup is free of parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance and mineral oil. Everything is also gluten-free and cruelty-free.
Wandress Rush Eyeshadow Palette ($25)
Perhaps you’re posted up in the outermost reaches of the burbs like I am (as evidenced by the flock of turkeys that just traversed my front yard). If so, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to appreciate Wander’s new six-pan eyeshadow palette, which celebrates the rush of city life!
Its classic autumn shades include…
- Charge, a shimmery champagne
- Blitz, a glittering golden cranberry
- OTW, a matte dusty rose
- Hustle, a shimmery golden copper
- Avenue, a metallic greenish khaki, and
- Swift, a matte eggplant

Wander infused the powders with rosehip and cranberry oils for moisture (not to worry — they don’t feel greasy), and I suspect that they’re why the powders are so easy to mix, match and blend.
I like to bop my brush back and forth between two — sometimes even three — pans to customize my own personalized colors, which I then blend atop bare lids.
Yup, you read that right. No lid primer for this gal! #cantbebothered
Frame Your Face Precise Brow Gel ($22)
Well, hello, pigment! This soft-hold gel instantly boosts your brows with a surprising amount of pigment. A few swipes of Dark Brown using a small, precise brush, and my brows go from slim to substantial (but not in that sharp, scary brows-like-blades kinda way). Also available in Blonde and Taupe. And for those who prefer no color in their fuzzy little caterpillars, there’s a Clear option, too.

High Line Liquid Eyeliner ($22)
If you love black liquid liners with a short, stiff, fine point, you should be set, because this one’s so dark and intense that you’ll only need a single pass across your lash lines. It also dries quickly and is practically waterproof.
Layover Hydrating Ampoule ($40)
This moisturizing serum is made for all skin types and is packed with hyaluronic acid for a heavy hit of hydration. The dry spots on my combo skin are all “AHHHH!” whenever I apply a few drops, which is usually after I wash my face and apply toner, but before I slather on the skin cream.
Seriously, SO good. I want an XXL tube!

Do Not Disturb Overnight Repair Concentrate ($68)
Made for all skin type, this exfoliating serum contains 1% retinol. I’ve used it a few times and, at least so far, my skin doesn’t peel or feel as slightly agitated as it does when I use the Kate Somerville retinol, which I’ve used off and on all summer.

What a pretty line! I see tarte and hourglass inspiration which is right up my alley. Did I hear you say cruelty free too? Are many of their products cruelty free?
Such a lovely look for early fall.
BUT ALSO THIS NECKLACE!! It’s is so so so stunning. And a terrific color on you. Where did you scoop up that beauty?
I really like their packaging, but can´t say I have heard about them already.

I was thinking the same thing about the liner. VERY black in your swatch. It’s funny but lid primer is the only “extra” that I wear everyday. My greasy lids can’t hold onto powder-shadow-used-as-liner without it. 🙂
