Balm Desert Bronzer/Blush by theBalm: In This Desert, It Rains Bronzer and Blush

Wha!?

Is it a bronzer? Wait — no. Is it a blush?

Actualmente, Balm Desert ($21) is both. It’s a new reddish tan face powder by theBalm that you can use as both. It works as a bronzer and/or a straight-up blush.

You could probably also use it as a contouring shade, since it leans neutral/cool…

If you already scrolled down and saw the swatch, your pores may be freaking out right now because of what looks like a slight sheen, but tell them to chill out. Balm Desert looks more matte in real life.

I’ve noticed that theBalm’s powders have a light and fluffy quality to ’em that makes them really easy to blend. It also makes them challenging (also known as “messy”) to work with at times, and Balm Desert’s the same way. Running a brush across the pan lifts a lot of product, and messiness may ensue, but you can head it off by tapping your brush against something to unload the excess.

Balm Desert… Is that like a totally awesome desert?

Get it? That desert is so bomb?

Haha. 🙂 Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Balm Desert is available now for $21 at theBalm counters and online.

Karen

Exciting! I’m a big fan of their Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter, it looks like they could work together really well for a soft contour. And I love thBalm’s price tags!

looks like something , I can use, I love the idea of bronzer, and blush on my cheeks my everyday make up love how the shade turns, But I will be amazing carrying with less. The package looks sleek and not heavy.
The perfect weapon to carry with less stuff :). Is it heavy?

Oh that’s pretty – it looks quite dark in the pan but not quite intense on the skin.

I love the Bahama Mama Bronzer from theBalm! Not sure if the reddish tones in this one would work for me.

Does it look similar to Dallas(Benefit) or I am making it up?

I love the idea of a blush/bronzer all-in-one combo! I love the Balm’s blushes and highlighters…I may have to order this one! One quick question though..Do you think it is similar to Benefit’s Dallas blush?

I guess I´d buy anything that promises me endless summer. Is there a way of refund if it keeps on raining like last year?
