All it takes to change your look is a swipe of lipstick or gloss.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
I am really surprised at how wearable the black gloss is!!! It looks nothing like I expected, especially when you layer it over a great pink. Wow!!
Very pretty!!
Hmmm…while the black gloss is way more wearable than I thought it would be, I just can’t get into it.
Hi Kelley,
Me too! When I first opened the tube I tried it on my bare lips… I looked scary! 🙂 But when mixed with other colors it’s pretty darn wearable.
I dunno if you’re into the ultra-vampy look, but this gloss would add lots of depth to red and magenta lip colors, too. 🙂
Wow. It’s so interesting to see how the lip gloss actually works. It really isnt as scary as I thought it would be, just brings a burgundy glossiness to the lips. Very cool. I may have to buy this just to freak out my friends when I redo my lips in the bathroom haha.
Black Gloss…how intriguing! It shall be mine. *feeds Tabs some canned salmon*
Hi Stephie,
LOL! You should totally do that. Bust out the tube and then give ’em a demo! 😉
Hi Tekoa,
Tabs would gobble up that salmon with a quickness! 🙂
LOVE the black gloss… thank you for showing us what it looks like layered over another color!

I’m not gonna lie: the idea of Piha Black gloss kind of scares me.
But then you go and make it look good!
My secret little inner-goth compels me to buy this dark beauty.

I love look three–the lips really pop and look great on your complexion. Now I’m definitely going to have to try out the Piha black lip gloss–thanks for the looks 🙂
My weekend was great! The hubby and I went to Boston which we love–lots of drinks, lots of food and lots of shopping (no tax)!!!! Hope yours went well!

Look three’s my favorite, they’re all pretty though. I wondered how people used the black lip gloss. Thanks for sharing!
hmmmm
as much as i was intrigued by it seeing it used i am not loving it so much
the look where you use the piha gloss in just the corners is nice but the full layer over color i am not loving
all the other looks are great!
I can’t decide whether I like #2 or #3 the best. I think #2 for work and #3 for evening, maybe. Very pretty!
very nice lip products. so shiny! not sure if our local euro lancome has released its spring collection yet…
thanks for sharing.

Hey Karen!
I tried Piha this weekend at my local Nordstrom counter. I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. That turned out to be a good thing, because, check this – they only got 3 tubes of it. That’s it. Apparently not alot of these were made since they are LE.
I tried Piha over a neutral taupe-ish color and it actually looked great. It transferred me from a neutral daytime lip to a total nighttime lip for smoky eyes. But, it didn’t convince me enough to find it somewhere else and purchase it.
I am just not digging the darker gloss. I love the first two looks though!!

definitely impressed with the black gloss as well!
Hi Christina,
Sure! Do you think you might try it?
Hi P. Potter,
Listen to her, for your inner goth would never lead you the wrong way (right?). 😉
I was goth for like 2 seconds in 1994. It mainly involved me wearing black eye liner on my lips beneath a dark red matte lipstick. Ahhh, good times.
Hi Tanya,
Sounds like you guys had fun. I’ve never been to Boston but would love to go some day!
And the fact that there’s no tax makes it that much more appealing.
Hi Michelle,
You’re very welcome! Another thing you could do is take the tip of the lip gloss applicator and trace the black along the lip line… it’s kind of a 90s look but it’s fun.
Hi YadiQ,
Thanks! Yah, the full on black is kinda scary, LOL.
Hi Susan,
Thank you! Do you think you might try it?
Hi Jojoba,
Sure. 🙂 For sure don’t miss out on the La Laque products!
Hi Shefali,
WOW! I am surprised that the counter only got three tubes.
The taupe sounds like it would be very pretty… I will try that next.
Hi Katee,
Thanks! Yah, the dark gloss is def. gothy!
Hi Briana,
It’s a lot of fun. Do you think you might try it?
