Speaking of holiday sets and things like them, advent calendars. Do you ever get or give them?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

These all sound amazing! Once again wishing we TJ’s in Australia ?
Karen says
I know, right? I’m excited about showering tonight and using all the goodies!
CL says
Hope I get a chance to see this at our tiny TJ’s. I never could get that rose-scented hand cream – they never had it on any of my trips there.
Anne says
I never get and rarely give them. I once got a nail polish one for my sister, but I got in on clearance and gave it to her on Christmas, not before that,
Rachel says
Ahhh you make me miss Trader Joe’s so much! I’ve never bought an advent calendar, but I’m a fan of Sephora’s holiday sets. There’s a few on sale right now which makes them and even better deal, might get a couple for my friend for Christmas who never treats herself!
Janine says
My son lives near a Trader Joes and I just texted him that I want this for Xmas. Thank you!!!!
Karen says
I just used the blueberry face scrub (smells like a smoothie) and the vanilla body butter. You will LOVE it!
Gail says
They have an advent for cats – its so cute – got the cats and dog one too for gifts and for mine. Filled with tons of good treats – they are located by the cat and dog food.
Karen says
I saw that somewhere… the TJ’s feed, I think. I remember seeing the dog one last year and being annoyed there was no feline option. I can’t wait to see the kitty one so I can get Rosie one!
Suzanne C says
I like how you bought an Advent calendar and then took everything out, 2 1/2 weeks before actual Advent starts, lol. But only because you’re generously sharing pictures of everything with us, of course. ?
List of things to do this weekend: go to local artisan festival, go to local bookstore anniversary party, trip to Trader Joe’s for Advent calendar and whatever else Karen tells me they have that I need in my life. (Because you haven’t been wrong yet.)
Karen says
HA HA HA, I know! Never mind that I used half of the products last night during my shower. 🙂 You’ll love the blueberry scrub, FYI. Smells delicious!
Fieran says
Karen, what is it with men and using 1 body product for hair and body? When I met my husband he used hair shampoo for his body as well. I was shocked. Now I’ve convinced him to use hair shampoo and conditioner for his hair; and a separate body wash. But it was an uphill battle 🙂
Karen says
You’re doing better than I am, LOL! I don’t even think El Hub knows what conditioner is.
Susan says
Karen,
Are you aware there is an advent calendar for cats at Trader Joe’s this year? Pretty exciting ?. Thought you needed to know this ASAP!
Susan says
Whoops. Someone already informed you of this fact above. Still, worth repeating!
Jae says
We use to do one advent calendar in the house for everyone but that got crazy so I do a simple one for each of the kiddos. I picked up a cute fill-it-yourself one for each kid from the Target dollar spot for $3. All of those items in the TJ one sound like something I’d use so I may pick one up on my next trip.
Kim says
This is such a cool idea. Yes, I get the boys Advent calendars every year. One of them likes the Montreal Canadiens so I drive to the Canadian retailer that does the old timey version (in partnership with the team and the children’s hospital). It’s a bit of a hike but he likes it. 🙂 The other one is NOT a Canadiens fan so he just gets a non-hockey themed one. HAHA!
