I never go anywhere without my MAC 266 (here’s an ancient review from YEARS ago; don’t laugh). It keeps me from venturing into The Land of Funky Brows. And then there’s my beloved Shu Uemura lash curler, but you probably know all about that, ha ha!
How about you? 🙂 What’s the beauty tool you never leave home without?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
Can’t leave home without my lipstick brush…
and my Shu Uemura eyelash curler
I can’t leave home without my tweezerman tweezers!!!
Same here…It’s like my brows would grow like weeds if I can’t find them for a week…
I try to avoid bringing expensive eyelash curler in case I squash it…

pencil sharpener. can’t risk a dull point!!
my mac 217. that brush can do anything. lol
I cannot leave home w/o my brow powder (I use MAC Espresso) and an old but trusty Sephora brow brush. Ive had the brush for 3 years and its the old brush design of Sephora. Theyve since made it over and I checked the new incarnation out – just aint the same. I am hanging on to this one for dear life until I can find a suitable replacement.
Cannot have bald brows in public!!!!
My Clarisonic because if your skin isn’t prepped the rest is….
brown napkins – like the ones from starbucks. absorbs the oil off my face better than those facial sheets. and their free and always plentiful!
Cuticle cream for me. I love Burt’s Bees’ Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme. 🙂
Cuticle nippers or baby size nail clippers – I use them for hangnails, which I get with annoying frequency.
My MAC 217 and 109. Must have those at all times!

Sadly, it’s not anything cool..just plain ol’ nail clippers:) I have the annoying habit of like picking the sides of my nails till they bleed, so clipping in time saves me from bleeding all over the place:)
Pre-moistened face cleaning wipes, an bronze eye pencil and tinted moisturizer. If I forget every other single thing, at least I can clean my face, add a little color to my eyes (even without mascara, it’s better than nothing) and even out my skin color. If I forget any of those things, I’m not leaving the hotel room, lol.
Funny you should mention the Shu Uemura lash curler, because I totally left town without it (on accident of course) for the weekend, and my entire face has been suffering as a result! Haha! I know that sounds the same, but I’m rather addicted to the device.
sorry – “the same” should be “extreme” – I was talking and typing at the same time! hahaha!
My Sonia Kashuk travel lash curler. Love that thing so much

Q-tips!
When I travel i love to use refillable magnetic compacts, that way I can have all my powders in one sturdy place. That’s not exactly a tool so if we’re talking strictly tools I have a great five piece sephora brush set that’s about the size of a cell phone. it’s bangin’!

My Body and Soul 5 brush kit that Carmindy uses from What Not To Wear!
AHHH the MAC 266, it is one of my first MAC brushes from years ago. In general, I don’t really carry around beauty tools but if I have to pick one, I would pick my Japonesque Heated Eyelash Curler.

My MAC eyebrow pencil in Lingering. I love how something so quick and easy can make such a big difference!

Conair Infiniti Hair Designer — otherwise my hair looks like Methusula.
Chapstick! Always have that baby with me no matter what! It’s a tool, right? lol
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and a clean mascara brush!
I never leave home without my carmex, actually I do if I’m in a hurry, and I end up with chap lips at the end of the day :(. So I should say, I try my best not to leave home without my carmex. I also always keep MAC Hue lipstick with me, it’s a great colour to give you some pinkish glossy sheen.

OH wait… it’s about Beauty Tools… I totally misread it… Though I was gonna mention my Anna Sui Lash Curler and MAC 129 SH =D. MAC 129 SH comes in handy when you wanna reapply blush or powder.
And does blotting paper counts, ’cause I do bring them everywhere.

My Venus razor! I’d look like Sasquatch without it!
Hmm thats a tough one since i basically carry a small suitcase of makeup in my handbag lol
There r 2 things i cant live without EVEN on holiday…
1. MAC concealer
2. Clinique mascara
Seconding the pencil sharpener. I cannot stand a dull eyeliner!
two items that have PERMANENT residence in my bag are my mini-Tweezerman slant point tweezers and my Sephora lash comb/brow brush.
not really a tool, but I have to have my MAC conditioner or my lips will be shredded at the end of the day…that and hair ties are the only things I have to have on me at all times!
Blush & MAC ” O”
Chapstick and my Shu Uemura lash curler. Btw, you better stock up on Shu Uemura Lash Curlers since Shu Uemura will no longer be sold in the States soon.

Anastasia tweezers, M.A.C. eyelash curler and 224 and 227 and 239 brushes. And though it’s not really a “tool”, my Burt’s Bees lip balm.
I don’t actually take any beauty tools out of the house, except just staple cosmetics that I need for emergencies.
Kiehl’s Lip Balm in coconut scent
When I travel – not without my tweezer, otherwise I have only some essential make-up with me.
Do I need a Chanel glossimer btw? Do I?!

Tweezers – no contest. For everything else, my attitude is generally “if I forget it at home, I’ll just buy a new one when I get there”. And oddly, since I adopted that attitude many years – and many, many business trips ago – I’ve never forgotten anything. Of course, now that I’ve typed that, I’ll forget half my stuff on my next trip! 🙂
