WOOT! is the one word that describes MAC’s Finery Limited Edition Lipstick and Gloss colleciton. You better hurry up and grab these beautiful sets, girlfriend. They are $32.00 each for a lil’ clutch bag, two lipsticks and one lipgloss. Here are a few pics to wet your whistle; check back later today for more detailed reviews and info. I tried the Plum lips last night! I liked them a lot too. Not crazy ’bout the Tan, tho!

Tan was my least fave. It’s just kind of… dull. Then again, I’m not a huge ultra nude lip fan anyway. I find I only wear nude lips with smokey looks.

lovin’ ur lips!
Am wondering if you did pat foundation or any lip eraser over your lips before applying the lipsticks?
I’ve pretty pigmented lips & I have trouble deciding which I should go for… the Coral or Plum set!
Do you reckon the Plum set will be over the top, pretty dark for pigmented lips like mine?
Any advice? TIA!

I like the plum lips set, I’m waiting breathlessly for your pics! Oh, and my hubby was passing by the monitor and agrees with the rest of us… nice lips, Karen!

LOL! Thanks glosslizard. BTW, they plum lip sets are up right now! It’s a fantastic set, and well worth it for the darker toned lipstick and the fab Lipglass Contessa!

Hey Michelle!
I didn’t use foundation or a lip eraser. (Too lazy, plus foundation tends to dry my lips out - BOO). You will LOVE the Plum set! There is am amazing dark color on their, as well as the lip glass, that I can see working really well on highly pigmented lips. Lemme know which one you end up picking
Don’t you love but hate Holiday sets? So many great choices!

hello Karen, you sold me on the Coral set! I like the plum set as well but I reckon it will be pretty dark on me considering how it appeared on your lips!

You’ll love the coral (I wore it today…weee!). For these pics I really laid on the color for the Plum. If you like it then get it! You can always take it down a notch or two by doing a lip stain. Do you think you might get any other MAC holiday sets? There’s so much good stuff to choose from this year.

Oooh I wasn’t tempted by these till I saw your post! I wanted Tan for some lovely nudes, but you have sold me on Coral…does anyone like the Tan set? I can’t wait for the Curioustease sets either after seeing your pics!
