LORAC Mega Pro Palette 3: An Emoji Review ?

September 28th, 2016 by Karen 25 Comments

Wearing the new LORAC Mega Pro 3 Palette on my lids

Who was the genius who decided that this needed to be white?

I mean, I had it open for about two seconds before there was eyeshadow all over the packaging, all over the inside of it, the outside of it, all over me. I don’t even know. It was a mess!

Believe it or not, this was taken after I tried to clean the palette, OMG!

I really like it, though. There are so many colors, and it has this rose gold theme, which feels kinda 2013, but eh — I’ll go with it. I think the best things, by far, are the first two rows. They’re all mattes! (All matte errrthing.) And these mattes are just so freaking juicy, soft and super easy to blend.

This whole grunge thing happening on my lids? (Well, I’m also wearing a couple shimmers. Let me just throw that out there.) I did it in like 10 minutes.

Maybe instead of writing the rest of this review, I’ll just use emojis, since that’s where we’re headed anyway. Why even bother with the English language? Just use emojis. That’s how Connor will probably communicate with me in the future anyway. Might as well get a jump on it. 🙂

Despite the dismal white packaging (WHO designed this?) I would buy this. I love browns and golds.

That packaging really is unfortunate! Clearly designed by someone who doesn’t use eyeshadow palettes!

It is so pretty to look at but so hard to clean! I’m usually cool with a little bit of mess but this is driving me cray!

This palette is so pretty!! I need this. I only own the original Lorac Pro palette but I’ve been dying for more from them. It sucks that it’s hard to get it in Canada. Totally agree with the packaging though…horrible idea!

Best use of the poop emoji ever, lol!
Hmm, I thought from other swatches I’ve seen that this palette was very neutral, but it seems to have some interesting colors. I don’t own any Lorac palette so far, is this one you would recommend to discover the brand’s eyeshadow formula?

I mean… It’s SUPER easy to blend, but there is some fallout. Just as long as you tap off your brush (keep a paper towel nearby) then you should be fine. I think you’ll like it just as long as you’re cool with the packaging getting messy.

I know it’s not nice to say but (to me) they should just rename LORAC and call it FALLOUT. My only palette from them is suitable for doing zombie makeup on the boys. HAHA! And, agreed 100% on the white package. What a mess! Btw, I’m made fun of regularly because I text the boys with proper grammar and punctuation. They find it very funny (or, in their replies, that annoying Crying Laughing emoji). 🙂

The fallout is a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it’s a pain (but great for zombie makeup). On the other, it’s SOOO easy to blend.

Um, how cute is it that the boys text with you?!

I love th look of this palette, if I was in the U.S. I would totally buy it! I guess messy packaging is a bit annoying but I’m not too concerned with keeping everything pristine haha 🙂
