I wonder if The Pioneer Woman consulted with Kiehl’s to create Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter ($32 for an 8-oz. jar), because it smells like something that would be wafting out of Ree’s kitchen. Like warm milk and honey with a dash of coconut, YUM!
This newest member of the moisturizing Creme de Corps line goes well with hot cocoa after coming in from the cold (perhaps after an afternoon spent ice skating).
The lightweight, whipped consistency absorbs in a jiffy, which means it gets a lot of everyday use.
Nothing against body butters that take longer to massage into the skin, but practically speaking, I use the ones that take the least amount of my time and effort to apply (like this one) more often on a daily basis. Like, when the bathroom floor is freezing cold, the last thing I want to do is spend 15 more minutes in there moisturizing after a shower.
If your bathroom’s so cold that it makes your teeth chatter, and you can’t bear the thought of being in it longer than you have to, keep a towel and a jar of Whipped Body Butter within reach of the shower. That way, after you turn off the water, you can moisturize inside the shower where it’s nice and toasty. I’ll quickly wipe myself down before applying Whipped Body Butter, while my skin’s slightly damp and warm, which seems to help the the product absorb even faster.
The only thing keeping me from loving this to pieces is the price ($32, ouch!), but you might want to give it a try on your next trip to Kiehl’s.
PRICE: $32 for an 8-oz. jar
AVAILABILITY: At Kiehl’s stores, counters and kiehls.com

I love Kiehl’s. I’m currently switching between their Ultra Moisturizer (oil free) and Clarins HydraQuench Cream Gel. I think I’ve found my HG moisturizers.

this might be the ONE that will keep my itchies at bay … 😀

Am I the only one who saw that title and thought about Melanie Fiona right away? “And it kills me, to know how much I really love you, so much I wanna ooooooooo…”
Topic: I’ve always loved Kiehl’s original Creme de Corps, which I think is one of *the* best body lotions around… but seeing it in body-butter form, with a milky-coconutty scent? Be still my beating heart!

I am addicted to Kiehls’ olive fruit oil hair products. And the Kiehls counter at my local Dillards is very generous with samples so I’m sure people could get free samples to try. Their stuff is great!

The scent and consistency sound great, but that price is painful!!

I love the Creme de Corps Lightweight lotion but I took a sniff and this new body butter smells to much of coconut for me, and was a tad too oily. It might be due to our humidity
dani@callitbeauty says
the product sounds absolutely delicious but the price tag hurts!

I love the idea of quick-absorbing but you know Kiehl’s lost me at “milk”. Shudder. 🙂

Hmmm I might try this one after I finish with my current body butter.
I have now restricted myself to Don’t you dare buy another lotion until the last one is finished! haha

I’ve been wanting to try this lotion for quite a while – and my bathroom is freezing – I might have to take you up on your recommendation, Karen!
Also, I laughed when I saw your Pioneer Woman reference – I just clicked over to your blog from her’s! I get almost all of my recipes from her. 🙂
Karen says
Hi Jaime,
Do you have a favorite recipe from the site? 🙂
Jaime says
Well, that would be difficult to pick just one! 🙂 But, if forced, I would say her Chicken Piccatta. It is beyond delicious. Here’s the link:

Also, if you haven’t gone onto her Tasty Kitchen website, you must! Let me know if you do, and I’ll send you some of my fav recipes from that site, too. 🙂

Oooh smart idea! I always dread getting out of the shower – my bathroom’s freezing! I usually moisturize while I wait for my coffee to brew before hair/makeup. I’ve got a routine, yo, made for max efficiency.
Karen says
Oh yeah! Moisturizing post-shower will open up a whole new warm world! 😀 And I’m betting it’ll save you some time, too.
Stephanie/Yukaeshi says
I absolutely love the texture of this cream, but the scent is way too overpowering for me and doesn’t really suit my skin’s chemistry. Alas 🙁
