Ah…good run, but it wasn’t exactly a run, per se. More like a slow, sweaty trot. 🙂
While I’m “running,” I like to sing and groove to my iPod (today I was BUMPING Biggie!), and periodically I’ll throw in a Jersey Shore-inspired fist pump for effect. I’m pretty sure I look completely redonkulous, but in my mind I’m sprinting like a gazelle down the beach in Chariots of Fire, ha!
Care to cool down with me and some Saturday Surfing?

In other news, have you seen Inception yet with Leo? I’m dying to know if it’s any good (but no spoilers, please)!
What’s the game plan for tonight? I’m supposed to be meeting some friends for Peruvian food (viva la carbs!) in the city. I’m already hungry, of course.

Ace, do you have your site registered at CommentLuv? I thought mine was, but when I noticed that the ‘last post’ thing wasn’t keeping up, I did some checking and discovered it wasn’t. Got all registered, and no problems since then.

I love the Sephora lip palette set! Plus, the price seems juuust right, so any time soon I might pop in and get one! I have too much lipstick tubes waiting to be saved 😀

I’m pretty much the worst runner ever. I tried really hard to like it, but after my last 10K I decided not to do it anymore. 🙂
That Laura Mercier lip kit looks sweet. And I’m digging Sephora’s little DIY lipstick kit, too. I have a few lipsticks that could be improved on…

Tonight is a mellow night in after 5 nights out in a row. I never do that. Me. Tour de France highlights. Couch. Lots of thick cream on messed up heels (Burts Bees Honey & Bilbray Foot Cream).
I remember you saying you waxed your own legs. Am thinking of going that route. What wax do you use? Do you have one of those little warmers to keep it at the right temp?

Karen, have you heard of what OPI is doing to bloggers and e-tailers these days? I’m hearing that they are bullying bloggers into taking down pictures and posts pertaining to their products! Do you know if this is true?
Btw great post as usual. I always check your blog first for new things to read and check out! <3 it!

I saw Inception last night, it was a really good movie, IMO. You have to really pay attention to understand it (aka no runs to the snack bar!)–but it is a thought-provoking movie for sure. Excited for the open thread tomorrow! Oh, and True Blood 😉
Aparnaa says
If you make a pretty thick paste of Oxyclean and scrub it into deodorant stains with a toothbrush, it gets rid of them. White shirt, striped shirt, any shirt – and it doesn’t fade the colors, promise! (A bit of extra work, I will admit…but eh, I love Oxyclean!)
I’m waiting on Inception…I really really want to see it though!
Nina says
I want to watch Inception too! 🙂
We went out – Hubs to brazilian jujitsu, me to Target. 😀 Then had Malaysian food for lunch and just hung out at home the rest of the day.
Im about to go and read some more Dresden Files. but I just have to say I want want want those tokidoi brushes. The mirror would be awesome too! 🙂
Lily says
i just saw it!
oh my gosh, it was goood. I just was alternating between wanting to jump into the movie and slap Leo or sitting on the edge of my seat.
See it see it! its just a tad confusing though, and i had to kind of make up my own ending because i didnt like the movies one.

Go see it!!! I have not seen Inception either but my friend went and love it and reviews say it’s one of the best movies of 2010 so far : D

I saw Inception this afternoon and it was definitely a great movie. I had REALLY high expectations of it and I’m not sure it lived up to them, but I still liked it a lot. Whoever said it’s not a movie you can run to the snack bar during was absolutely right. lol But that’s part of why it’s so good.
Tuhina Dayal says
Inception was a fabulous movie! It’s been a really long time since I LOVED a movie this much.
Rachel says
hey karen,
don’t waste your money on that underarm stain remover. soaking the stains in white distilled vinegar works too 🙂 also, if you use an all natural deodorant, you wont get those stains. too bad they don’t work as well 🙁
gina says
i totally want to try that deo-go. i wonder if they sell it in stores. 10 bucks isnt bad and i’d rather not have my pits smell like vinegar! hehe
Andrea says
Ooh did you enjoy the Peruvian food? what did you have?
Have a great Sunday!!! 🙂

I saw Inception yesterday in IMAX, and all I could say was WOW.
There were a couple points in the movie where I got goosebumps but that was probably because I wasn’t tooooo appropriately dressed for the chill of the movie theater. Hehe
Regardless, the majority of the trailer includes clips from the movie that once I thought about it, I would go AHAH! But besides that, the movie was well-crafted. If you think about whats happening, it isn’t toooo complicated, but aowijefoaiwjef just watch it! 😀
Elaine says
inception is incredible! the best movie i’ve seen since no country for old men, hurt locker came a close third! but yes. see inception! i saw it friday night and am going to go see it again this week (in imax!) – i have never seen a movie more than once in theatres!!!
