What good are weekends without something to celebrate? It’s MAC Hello Kitty time, and I’ve got a Lucky Tom eye palette with a lucky reader’s name on it ($38 value).
How to enter…
There are two ways to enter, and you can do both for two chances to win. The first involves leaving a comment here on this post — a comment about anything at all. Tell me what you had for lunch, describe the new coat you got from Nordie’s, or dish about your office crush. The second involves signing up for my updates by email, if you haven’t already subscribed. You’ll get one email per day, jam packed with juicy randomness and makeup joie de vivre!

I have 5 furbabies at my house. Last week, I came home from work and they had turned the vacuum cleaner on (I left it plugged in). I’m guessing it had been on for several hours at least! They also open all my cabinets and drawers and hide their toy mice in them. One of my female cats, Olivia, steals my eyeshadow applicators and brushes and plays with them!

Although I am really happy that Slumdog Millionaire won every category they were nominated for at the Oscars. I personally think the movie was overrated. Having lived in Mumbai for a few years (currently living the Bay Area..woot!) the movie did potray the eclectic city of Mumbai in a bad light. There is so much to the city than poverty, slums, dirty streets, beggars. There’s this magical entity that is associated with Mumbai. The culture shines through, and I hope people can see that someday than just the slums. Maybe I need to make a movie soon?

Just wanted to say Hi from Puerto Rico
The spring semester just started two weeks ago, and I already have an exam scheduled for this Thursday. Winning this palette would really make my week. I’m not sure why I’m working the pity angle since you said the winner will be chosen at random. Silly me. Oh, and speaking of random, a dear friend of mine has a crush on a boy at work, and it is looking like it may be requited. I’m so excited for her! Such pretty colors in this Hello Kitty palette! Here’s my random thought – what if cat really wore make-up? Would they want to show off their pretty green (blue, hazel, etc.) eyes or would they want to highlight their beautiful stripes? Just a thought.

I purchased some MAC products on last Friday to include the “She Loves Candy” lip glosscolor, I love using it for a faux Viva Glam look. Now the hard part, keeping it hidden from my 5 yr old – YIKES!!!
