Is That a Griffin Gracing the MAC BollyDoll Collection?

The MAC BollyDoll Collection
The MAC BollyDoll makeup bag collection, coming to maccosmetics.com December 23, 2014, and stores January 1 through February 26, 2015

Because if it is, “OH, HELL YEAH!!” Paws up for mythical creatures, yo. 🙂

Bright colors, bad@ss mythical beasts and playful prints are the perfect pick-me-ups on cloudy days like today, and the MAC BollyDoll makeup bag (and brush kit) collection is almost as potently positive as coffee.

From the top: MAC BollyDoll Brush Kit ($49.50 US, $59.50 CDN), Makeup Bag in BollyDoll/Blue ($36 US, $43.50 CDN) and Makeup Bag in BollyDoll/Pink ($36 US, $43.50 CDN)
Love those prints!

Rough and choppy says what now?

‘sup?

Thanks for the hair help in the comments yesterday. The curling iron did the trick! I used one on my new ‘do this morning and was able to get the rough and choppy look I wanted. 🙂

It’s so… un-MAC! lol 🙂 But I do like the designs. What I like even more though is your new ‘do.

I love that they do stuff that you don’t expect from them, ya know?

And thanks re: the new hair! When I used the flat iron to curl it I swear the clouds parted, LOL!

Happy Tuesday to you. What are you up to today?

Happy Tuesday to you! How’s work going today?

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing about a cat one. 🙂 I think the elephant one is my favorite. It sort of has an Indian vibe to it.

Work is kinda slow this time of year because a lot of people are on vacation. It’s kind of nice because I know things will definitely pick up next year. Happy (Tabby) Tuesday! Hope the boss isn’t working you too hard. 🙂

I like that one too. I have an ornament on my tree (a pink elephant) that matches it perfectly. 🙂

When I worked in SF one thing that I loved about the holidays was how everyone would bring in homemade treats all throughout December. Every morning I’d go into the break area and find all sorts of yummy sweets to eat. Does your office do anything like that?

Tabs is doing great today. He’s a little feisty because of the new tree. I caught him last night swatting at some ornaments. And this morning he took a long nap underneath the branches. I’m convinced that he thinks we get one every year solely for his entertainment.

Sometimes people will bring in treats, but not too often. That’s probably a good thing, since I have a major sweet tooth. 🙂

This is the first year I’ve put up a tree with the cats and they’ve been great. They enjoy laying under the tree, but they haven’t been interested in the ornaments or climbing the tree.

Hope you’re having a nice day! It’s cold and dreary here in Nor Cal…

There’s a bit of a hazy off the coast .. I can see the Coronado Bridge from my office window (downtown San Diego).

Yup, it’s a nice view – not complainin’ lol

The bags are cute, I agree, not very typical of Mac.

Your hair looks fantastic!! I have tried using a straightener to create a wavy look so many times but it never works for me. I must be doing something wrong. But you’re making me want to chop my hair, lol.

Thank you! Using the straightener is really easy. I think the trick is to use a straightener that gets kind of warm on the outside of the plates and has a rounded edge. Those types seem to hold the curl better. 🙂

You’re very welcome. Are you happy with that hair change?

I am using a GHD straightener, it does get hot and it does have rounded edges. It just doesn’t work for me, lol.

    Positively medieval!! Griffins, yes!

What are the dimension on these things?

Ya know I grow my hair to that length every year-and-a-half and then I cannot tolerate the heavy drape on my neck in the brutal heat of summer and so I go pixie!

    I need more heat-tolerance.

Sunny here in more northern Calif. Which means I have to clean the bathroom. Me no likee cleaning tile in the cold damp weather. So you see, drizzly has its purpose!!

    The hurr looks good!

Super cute hair. And bags as well. Sad that I missed out on Gunner (lippie) from the Nasty Gal Collection, which is totally off topic, I know. But your blog was the first place I spotted that lippie and now I’m kicking myself for not jumping on it sooner.

In other news, have you tried those brushes from the Bolly Doll Collection? Inquiring minds would like to know how they perform 🙂
