Ring around the rose-y, MAC’s pocket full of posies!
Read on to catch a whiff of their latest collection, A Rose Romance, before it goes on sale April 23.
The 23-piece color collection for cheeks, lips, eyes, face and nails draws inspiration from different hues of roses — how romantical!
From the promo pics it looks like it offers plenty for ladies who love cool toned violet, pink and plum makeup.
I lurve purples and pinks.
I think it’s time for another installment of WHAT WOULD YOU GET?

I’ve broken the collection down into four groups — 1) Cheek, 2) Eye, 3) Lip and 4) Mixed Bag. Each group features makeup from MAC’s new A Rose Romance collection.
Choose the one group you’d most like to take home with you, and let me know in the comments.
1. Cheeks: Beauty Powders and Gel Blush

4. Mixed Bag

- Deja Rose: notes of tea, Bulgarian and Turkish roses along with orchid, lily, jasmine and peony

Splashproof Lash, $12
- Blacksplash: black
Fix + Rose, $17
- An aqua-spritz of vitamins and minerals, green tea, chamomile, cucumber and rose water, adding radiance and to finish makeup.
Hmm… I’m torn between the Mixed Bag and the Lip Group.

I would bring home the lip group! They are such pretty colors.

If I had to pick a group, I’d definitely go with the lip group. Those lip stains and lipsticks look gorgeous, which makes up for the fact that I’m not much of a gloss girl.
If I got to pick, however, I’d get the A Rose Romance lipstick (I love simple, pretty pink shades, even if they aren’t too unique), the Secret Crush lip stain (love lip stains!, the Fix+ Rose, and the Blush of Youth (that rose “carved” into the blush looks gorgeous!). The colours may all be safe, but hey, that just means I’ll use them more!

I actually have only one thing on my radar, and that is the gel blush. I saw a girl on youtube (who lives in Taiwan) who already got some stuff from the collection, including the blush. It looks intense red, but when she put it on her cheeks, it was such a beautiful flush. I think its on product that many different skin tones could pull off.

Definitely eye shadows… that blue pigment is beautiful and I’m dying for the purple and grey shadows!!!!! though I wouldn’t pass up the the mixed bag – that nail color is super cute!

The gel blush.
eyeshadow: silverthorn.
lips: I LOVE all the see thru lip color and will probably get them all but If I had to choose one, then it will be loving touch because I already have a berry shade from emanuel unagro collection.
amd from the mixed bag, the fix and rose, for sure!
It looks like a promising collection from MAC. I was not a fan of the hello kitty collection or any other MAC collections since unagro, but I think I am in love with MAC again.

Ohmygoodness, I’m not one to actually want *everything* from every collection, or to say I want a lot of things.. but this collection speaks to me! I would definitely try the Fix+Rose (and I’ve loved Fix+ for ages, and have wanted to try the Charged Waters – this might be the great balance) but ALL the lip colours are gorgeous…
