Do you ever play the What If game? It’s one of my favorites, and I play it all the time. It’s really easy, too. You just start a sentence with the words, “What if…” and see where it takes you. A popular version is the “What if I won the lottery…” game. That one gets a lot of mileage in this house, LOL!
It’s really fun when you try it with something totally and completely random, like, “What if I had a rainbow horn growing out of the side of my head?”
Well, I could hang a towel on it while I did my makeup, which would really come in handy because I’m always misplacing hand towels.
Work would be…challenging though. I have a feeling a horn would complicate self portraiture, depending on its length and luminosity. I’d hope that people would accept me with the horn, but I don’t know… A rainbow horn might throw some people off, especially if it just suddenly appeared one day, and I’d probably get a lot of questions like, “Why do you have a rainbow horn on the side of your head?”

If I won a lottery, I’d want a lifetime supply of La Mer skincare (which I cannot afford hehe)… would LOVE to try their eye cream in particular!
If I won the lottery, the first thing that I would do is pay off my student loan debt, and the second is to plan a vacation for my family.
If I could win a lifetime supply of my Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, I would DEFINITELY be a happy camper. I would give some money directly to charity, but then set up a trust, too, so that money could accrue that way for charitable purposes. I would probably also go back to school to get a master’s in speech pathology, which had been my second choice for my master’s degree. Ah, the possibilities.

If I won the lottery, the absolute first thing I would do financially is make my parents comfortable. I would buy them whatever their hearts desired, and they are not the kind of people who “want”, but I would make sure they never, ever went without. They did without many times when I was younger so that my sister and I could have and experienced the things they never had. They sacraficed so that my sis and I could go to college and get our degrees, something they were not able to do. I’d give them the moon, but I know all they want is my love. <3

Since this is totally a wish fulfillment I would want the late makeup artist Way Bandy to do my makeup. I saw his work so many times starting in the 1970’s. He really was the first to gain big recognition doing makeup for famous people & models. He worked with many famous photographers like Francesco Scavullo. He did the most beautiful work. His makeup was different from any one’s I’d ever seen. He was a big inspiration for the late makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway.

Hmmm… if I won the lottery, the very first thing I’d buy…. is a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne! Then we could go to the practicals of paying of my parent’s mortage, my student loan, funding my dreams of going to graduate school, of, and of course – bribing MAC to bring back the lip gelee lip glosses. I still miss them so much!
