Tabs for Dolce & Gabbana Gravy

What would you do if you found yourself in Seville on business with one free night to do whatever you want? Well, if you were international kitty supermodel Tabs the Cat, you’d have the brick of cod tapas and gazpacho at Enrique Becerra before heading over to Casa de la Memoria de Al-Andalus to catch Fragua Flemenca perform.

Sí, Tabs had a shoot in Spain this week for NARS, but he was only there for about 24 hours. It was a quick turnaround because his agent booked him for a campaign the following day in Milan with Dolce & Gabbana.

When he got home yesterday he brought me back some yummy Spanish olives, and I got him a crunchy paper toy from Target. Now we’re just watching a little TV together before I get ready for bed.

Oh, I don’t know if you follow kitty modeling, but if you do, here are some highlights from the jobs Tabs had this week. :)

Tabs for NARS Flamenco

Tabs for MAC Naturally

Tabs for Benefit Laser Beam Highlighter

Tabs for Clarins Fur Stain in Warm and Cool

Who is Tabs the Cat? About three years ago I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could see he’d fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high fashion and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and now he’s actually my boss (and a successful kitty model). :)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. Like his midsection, Tabs’ kitty modeling portfolio is bursting at the seams! Here’s a random sampling of his work, and there’s a lot more in the archives.

Gosh Karen, I can barely believe it’s been three years since I started reading your blog. It’s gone by so fast. I remember asking you for your must-have brushes for MAC as I would be off on my first trip to the store in Antwerp. I’ve definitely grown and progressed from there :)

    • Karen says:

The time goes by so fast, doesn’t it? I still remember you buying Peaches blush from MAC and being so stoked about it! Have you hit the pan yet?

      • Karen B says:

No I haven’t actually. Reminds me that I should wear it more often. I’ve been kinda in love with my NARS Amour for the past bit. And I’ve been wearing NO makeup at all for the past week and a bit. It was liberating but now I do want to go back to playing with the brushes ;)
