Tabs turns up his purr-minator machine to warp factor 12 around Valentine’s Day, like his body, which is normally fueled by gravy and love, needs even more pets than usual.
I swear, he would spend the entire day on my lap if he could. Sometimes he’s so insistent for lap time that he’ll sit right on my elbow, as close as possible, and stare at my lap like an Olympic figure skater about to take the ice, like he’s been preparing for this moment his entire life.
He doesn’t just like lap time. He NEEDS it, and I feel bad because he doesn’t get as much lap time as he used to. His little sister/part-time pet assistant gets some of it.
Granted, Tabs is an expert negotiator, and he’s always a team player, but I’m sure he still wishes he could get more lap time.
If you have a virtual lap to share, he would really appreciate access to it. He’ll trade you virtual whisker kisses and purrs. 💕😺
