Ugh, gals! It’s like sauna central up in here right now. The glow I’m sporting ain’t the sexy kind. It’s more along the lines of a sweaty beast.
What are up to? Is it hot there?
I think I need to escape my apartment until it cools down… I may go to a movie, at least for the air conditioning.
Whatever you’re doing tonight, I hope it’s fun!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Here in good ol’ Boston it’s cold and rainy. Really not that much of an improvement from hot and humid if you ask me. In even worse news, I spent my Saturday night working. (Past tense because it’s technically already Sunday here.) What is my life coming to?? D:
p.s. The OPI holiday wishes collection was beautiful. Thanks for the link!

It’s in the hundreds here in LA, and for whatever reason, I agreed to go spend a week at the one place hotter than here – Henderson, Nevada (just outside Las Vegas). *sigh* I’ll be back in a week if I don’t drop dead of heat exhaustion while I’m there. For now I think I’ll spend some more time checking out your links while I procrastinate a little more on the packing.

Here in Edmonton, AB, we only have two seasons: Winter and July.
Surprisingly though, these last couple days have been on the warm side. Unexpected.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I might be taking my first driving lesson tomorrow. At 28. Kinda nervous!

Today’s high: 68 degrees. Fall coming early to Ohio? At least the my classroom is comfortable. Earlier, my kindergarteners were practically melting, asking to turn on the air. LOL I’m enjoying a cup of the stress relief tea you mentioned earlier. Nice…if anything, drinking tea always soothes. Took my girls to see “Ponyo” last night. Different, but very cute. Today is a day to catch up on work. Hope it’s cooler for you!

Hi Nancy,
Oh, nice! Is it the Yogi Kava or the Relax tea? I swear the Kava one is a miracle worker — it’s like instant chill out.
I’m doing some catch up work today, too. Are you almost done? I hope you manage to get some fun in before the week starts up.

Hi Sole,
Girl, why are you going to Henderson? I hope you’ll be staying some place with kick ass air conditioning!

Hi Rebecca,
Boo to working on a Saturday night — I’ve been there! What kind of job do you have?
Hope you managed to take some time off today.

I’m a cashier at Shaws. Exciting stuff, I know. [insert eye roll here] I did have to work today, but it was only for 4 hours, so there was still time to watch Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Extended Edition afterwards.
What can I say? Being a nerd is fun!

Kinda late on this post as it’s Monday now *but* for today I’m doing something fun
at least after something not fun. First I have to go to a doc appt. for a physical. Then, I’m seeing Julie and Julia! Been wanting to see that for a while/
