Oh, how I love that first sip of coffee on a Saturday morning… I’m convinced something magical happens to coffee when it’s brewed on the weekends because it tastes so much better than it does on Monday. :)

Today’s java needs to power me through a bunch of housework and homework (an assignment for that photography class I’m taking at the community center), and I’m hoping to get everything done early so I have some time to play with makeup and enjoy the sunny day outside.

What are you up to? Got anything fun lined up today?

I don’t know about you, but I like to start my weekends with coffee/tea and web surfing. Care to come with? Last one in the water is a rotten egg!

I’d prefer Phoenix or Storm, hell even Dazzler, to Wonder Woman. I am such a Marvel Girl

Well Karen, thanks to you my obsession with NARS is in full swing. I’ve been browsing the web for about an hour now (and a couple of shorter stints in the past couple of days) trying to figure out what I want to swatch/try when I’m in London and what things I definitely want to buy.
So far Tzarine duo is on the definitely buy list. Daphne, Mangrove, the Palladium shadow pencil and a couple of blushes are on the: try out list. Oh dear, there goes my cash.

    • Karen says:

Hey, at least you’ll look great. What blushes are on your radar?

Well Dolce Vita and Mata Hari seem interesting as does the new Douceur. I’ll have to swatch Orgasm because it is so iconic… hahaha

You know this reminds me of one of my first comments here on your blog. You advised me on some MAC products to try out as I was a complete beginner. Now I think about it that’s like nearly three years ago and I can say that I’ve come a very long way since then… :)

Did you have a favorite back in the day? I was Team John forever, then joined Team Simon in my mid 20′s after I saw him do something very sexy in concert!

  7. Nina says:

Totally up for the Wonder Woman collex if they put it in LE packaging — stars on my compact? Yes please! :)

I still love Duran Duran, but sadly the song that’s stuck in my head now is not Hungry Like the Wolf, or the Reflex, or even Notorious…. it’s the theme to Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman. And yes, I am also picturing Lyle Waggoner’s dazzling smile in the opening credits (insert glint of light from his teeth here). Thanks Karen!!! :)
