I should be packing for my trip on Monday, but I’m browsing the web instead. Why? Because it’s more fun than packing, yay!

Well, if your anything like me, I am up until 2-3 am the morning before I leave on a trip…..definatley have the “procrastination” gene.
I am snowed in here in Delaware…we’ve got 15+ inches and are in a State of Emergency declaration in the country. My poor husband is stuck in NJ at work…..he’s been there since 8am this morning, and may be stuck there until tomorrow. I attempted to go out this morning, as I had several important errands to run….post office, bank, dry cleaner (CLOSED)….I attempted to finish Xmas shopping, but the stores at the shopping center closest to my house were closed….JCPenneys was open, so I got gloves for both me & the hubster and got wrapping supplies at Hallmark and Staples. A trip that would have normally taken me an hour, took THREE. I spent the rest of the day wrapping presents and napping. It’s still snowing, and expected to continue until Sunday morning…….I don’t think that a BLIZZARD was on my Xmas wish list…..
I checked my email and did NOT have a message from you, so I hope Santa still remembers that I wanted a Clarisonic for Xmas……
To answer your question: I always make sure that I have a neutral eye palette, so that I don’t have to take a ton of stuff. I take 2-3 lip colors and always make sure that I have some sort of lip balm with an SPF. Now that I’ve added multi-purpose beauty items to my collection, I expect that my next trip will be much easier to pack for.
Have a wonderful trip……VERY envious that you’re going to Hawaii……can I come as your assistant? I have a new laptop and can help you with the blog while you’re relaxing with your family……LOL
